Here I am entering an old shaft. I was particularly interested in the ceiling. I had already smashed my head a few times. Each shock loosened rock, sand and shale which came down around us. Luckily, there weren´t any major collapses during this project. Many of the tunnels that the guide had explored as a kid had caved in over the last few years. We were careful.
