Martial Artist of the Year

Mr. Jeremy Anderson, 3rd Dan Black Belt - BIO

This is Mr. Anderson's second Martial Artist of the Year Award.  Mr. Anderson continually drove from Denver, CO to Omaha, NE to train people and conduct Gup examinations.

Instructor of the Year

Master Instructor Clint Boit, 5th Dan Black Belt - BIO

This is Master Boit's 3rd consecutive Instructor of the Year Award.  Master Boit had a busy year this year.  He opened a new school in Niceville, FL.  He participated in two tournaments, taking several first place trophies!  He continually inspired to make AIT, its students and instructors the best they can be!  He did whatever it took to help students and instructor's achieve their individual goals!

Student of the Year

Mr. Fred Stone, 7th Gup Orange Belt

Mr. Stone surprised everyone by taking self-initiative and writing an article for Taekwondo Times. . . and getting it published!!!  He practice consistently and had a continual positive attitude in class.

Competitor of the Year

Mrs. Cindy Jackson, 7th Gup Orange Belt

Mrs. Jackson participated in one tournament this year, and entered every division she was eligible for.  She had to compete against a Blue Belt in Sparring -- and won 1st Place!!!  She also won 1st place in Forms and Breaking.  She performed board breaks that were above her belt level at the tournament!

Most Improved of the Year

Mr. Lance Boit, 7th Gup Orange Belt

Mr. Boit has been a student for a long time already.  He is renewing his USCDKA membership this July for the THIRD year!  Even though his progress in belts is slow, he is VERY motivated and happy to be in class!  His kicks, blocks, punches, and stances have all improved a lot this year!
