Here is where you'll find all the latest news dealing with SD:TNM and Shadowrun and where to find groups that are playing and any conventions that have SD:TNM or Shadowrun events. I'm trying not to repeat any news that is on other Silent Death Pages so you might want to refer to my link page to to check out their news.

I'm mainly trying to post info on the various conventions around the globe so feel free to submit any convention info you have. In addition to conventions feel free to submit info on your local gaming groups and the days and time they meet. I'll try to keep this updated as much and as soon as possible. Hopefully this will help to bring together more gamers and more places to play. Target rich environments are always welcome and good hunting!

I'm trying to post Con's that have SD:TNM events but I'll post any conventions that are going on. If anything, you can bring your SD:TNM stuff with you and find some players there, maybe even run a few events yourself. And if you contact anyone from this page, please tell them where you saw the convention advertised. That way in the future they might send me the dates instead of me finding them. Anyway, here's all the Con's I have to date (flyers picked up at CAPCON XIII). I've set up the information in a quick-reference table and then below the table there is more detailed information about the con's. Tell me what you think of the new format!

EGYPTIAN CAMPAIGN '98- March 27-29, 1998. Being held at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL in Carbondale's Student Center. This convention has 6 silent death events and a two round tournament so far. Event Synopsis: The Egyptian Campaign '98 is Illinois largest gaming convention, growing steadily since our start in 1988. The convention is hosted by the SIUC Strategic Games Society and features Role-playing, Miniature, Board, and Collectable Card games. There will be two painting contests, a costume contest, art contest, live auction, dealers, and special guests to make the event special. Last year we had over 250 games, each with prizes for at least first place. Only 2 hours from St. Louis. The cost is $12 at the door for all 3 days, $10 if you pre-register. ILLINICON '98- June 5-7, 1998. This one is hosted by the Urbana Gaming House and Hendrick Dorms in Urbana, IL. Fees: $5.00 for whole weekend, some event fees ($1 or $2, but many are free).
