Just as I intended to get autographs on my purple,
self-designed T-shirt, the next show two days later
I intended to give Joe that crystal pewter cross
necklace, Excalibur.
8/3/93
This was a most incredible show. Allentown made up
for it in every little way for the misfortunes of
Harvey's Lake. We were amidst a great crowd, nearly
10 feet from stage front and center! At some point,
Joe and Viv recognised me because their glances were
more noticeable. Then, Joe seemed to be singin to me
as well as Viv and Sav during Hysteria. "You best
believe it" I had sung directly to me by Vivian, Sav and Phil,
(I almost fell over) and then by Joe!
Allentown was the best show! Too much to actually
relate.
I managed to get pushed to the center about five
persons away from the barricade. I was close enough
to Joe when he came down front to sing that I called
his name and he looked at me! I threw the Salem bag
toward him that had the broked/fixed Excalibur secured
safely to foam inside. It missed him and he
ignored it!
We were heaved, swayed to-and-fro with the crowd.
Several times I dropped my poster tube and had to
crawl around to get it. I hung on their every note.
I was sad through Love Bites and joyful durin
Photograph. At the beginnin of Animal, a skunk's
scent crossed the arena. We are on cloud nine with
ecstasy. I feel like "Have You Ever Needed Someone...
you just couldn't have..." so Joe sung it directly
to me as he did Love Bites; Two Steps Behind was dually
performed by Joe's and Sav's eye contact.
I had written 3/20/93, about Baltimore gig bein
the "most intense show of my life!" Now I've had
that experience duplicated and tripled intensity!
So the intensity was the most memorable.
As Dawn and I drove home on the highway listenin to
Animal, a skunk's scent crossed the highway!
Intense.
