Well this is one of the "techy" section of the site and for all the newbies out there I should explain what a Mp3 is.

Mp3 stands for MPEG Auido Layer 3 and this is basicly a sound format like .au .snd .wav ect. It compresses a RAW (as recorded) sound file that can be as large as 40 Mb for a full cd qualtiy song to a file thats as much as 12 times smaller with no loss in quality (as a rule of thumb 1min = 1Mb)

And to play them get WinAmp this media player is one of the best out there and play's many other sound formats, and best of all it is now Freeware (not much good for the few of us who payed the $10 to reg it is it) . Anyway you can get this from www.winamp.com

Now to the reason for this part of the site me and a few freainds last year thought to our self "Why can't we lisen to our 100's of mp3s in our cars?" and with a bit of work and research but at the moment only one of us has had the time build ond and that is Ant691. Mine and Madfrog99's Mp3 I.C.E. (I.C.E. = in car entainment)pages will be opend when we have finished the units.
