The G-Team's X-Award is given to my favorite X-Files related sites. I surf the net on this one, but in case I missed your site, you can send me your URL to MaritaSRSG@aol.com, or fill out the form below.Don't worry if I don't get back to you (which I probably won't for awhile). Once you enter, you'll always be up for the award. That doesn't mean you can't submit as many times as you like to notify me when you have revamped your site. Any cool X-Files site needn't worry about specific criteria. I wanted to make the award semi-prestigious in that I will only give out a limited amount [so that people actually can make time to visit all of the sites], yet at the same time I don't want to make it so hard to get that it frustrates...Consider the FREE AWARDS as well. Here are some choices for the award graphic, click to view: [By the way, if you see that anyone has stolen the graphics, report it to me and I will have to disintegrate them! Or make them watch "Space" over and over for eternity.] |

SpookyNet |
Wonderful design, and now better than ever since "the x-phile site" has also now become part of spookynet. A great source for multimedia and other X-Files goodies, but behold! The online phile who wishes to make his/her own X-Files page will be blessed by the "homepager." |
Rohan's X-Files Realm |
One of the best atmospheric X-Files sites out there, with eerie original altered graphics. Of course, Rohan has long been offering the Ultimate X-Files Site Award to wonderful websites out there, as well as supplying a healthy dose of pictures and information. |
Mystic Pea's Guide to Those X-Traordinary Guest Stars |
The list of guest stars isn't complete yet, but just wait til it is--nice background information and links to other sites that feature the guest star. Of course, what impressed me the most was Mystic Pea's own "Star Wars vs. X-Files" section, which was not only thoughtful but funny. I just wanted to add that Mystic Pea has added some of the most appropriate (and wonderful) accompanying midi music to her pages. |
The X-Paper Online |
This clean-cut site contains nice archives of past issues of the newsletter. Though the site is decent, what you really need to do is sign up for one of the best online newsletters. With detailed information on the latest news, and even the latest fanfic, the X-Paper is a treat to read. Oh, and tell them we sent you! (I had the opportunity to meet the maintainer as well at the '98 Expo--ClasicaLeo, if you're reading, you helped me :0) obtain William B. Davis's autograph. Thanks.) |
The X-Files In-Joke List |
One of the most tailer-friendly sites out there. Find out not only the in-jokes (as the title implies), but tons of stats also. Nice design, great information. |
The X-Files According to Rebecca |
Has one of the neatest shipper pages out there, but don't fear, fellow Noromos and Fence-Sitters! There's a non-shipper page too. I had to give Rebecca this award after touring the Potato Shrine [compiling those spud references in the show] and the Tribute to Mulder's Office. Casual web surfers will also be pleased to find plenty of wav files in the pool, and pictures as well. |
Nats-Andrea-Maclau's Shrine to the X-Files |
This site contains plenty of goody rumors, movie pictures, and character dossiers. A new feature is the cemetary (which, at some point, I was consider doing) where you can leave flowers for deceased characters. My favorite thing about the site (or actually maybe its creators) is that it's the birthplace of such cool ideas like the Bee Squadron and the Anti-Millennium Club--these girls are quite creative! It's just fun to be on the site and I hope everyone else gets to see it. |
Fox William Mulder on the Web |
Though not that much of a Mulder fan myself [please no hate mail! I can't handle that!], I was incredibly impressed by this Mulder-friendly site. Everything you ever need to know about the G-Man and the actor who plays him is here, having even an astrological section, as well as the Moostitution, his sainthood, and of course the ever-so-enjoyable Long List of Mulderisms. Great web design and nice "focused-ness" that is definitely tailer-friendly--all in all a must-see. Of course that site is more popular than mine, so you probably already have. |
X-Files For True Believers |
Okay, like this site needs an award from me. Needless to say, this is one of the best, if not THE best X-Files site there is. The Temple of Modell is smart--containing pictures, etc. But it's the small things that count here too! How about having the wallpaper cerulean blue? And having "Misty" play when you enter the temple? Plus, Amy's guess at what Modell's would-be favorite webpages! This site is as fun as it is well-designed and organized. And you can't forget that you can also enter the X-Files University here! Enough said... |
The Syzygy Zone |
The X-Files aspect of this page is generally dedicated to Krycek (one of my faves as well). What is so endearing about this Krycek-related site is its free-handed approach to discussing the gals' (some of them at least) infatuation with Ratboy. It unabashedly calls my name-sake a slut and creates a "Syzygy" dictionary mostly used to define cute guys...like "Canadian"! What I really love about this site though is its ability to keep my interest while introducing all the page's maintainers--not only that, I find myself wanting to know more about the Syzygy Girls! I never leave this page without a smile. |
