Your question made me laugh.  Their lips are normal; the ponies are just posed!  That's like asking me if I always keep my leg bent and my mouth open (well, okay, the "mouth open" part may be true).  Think of it--what if poor Sky Flier or Coco Berry or Milky Way or Mimic could never put their heads down?  They'd literally have nothing to talk about except the weather.  We could send them to the nursing homes!  They'd be a big hit!

In addition, try stepping onto the shores of Ponyland with one of those beaded sodas.  It would instantly become the best thing you'd ever tasted.  I love Pony Magic.  You can explain anything!
