Game Settings

Flying Koala Games hosts three different original game settings, in admittedly different stages of completion and in quality, as well as resources for AEG's 7th Sea game.

7th Sea Resources offers material on Vodacce life, Thean religions, Montaigne etiquette, GM resources, and more.

Saromatia is Flying Koala's best offering. It is an original, fully-realized setting with details on history, culture, religion, races, and more. Saromatia is a 500 year old feudal matriarchy where women are the primary governors and property owners. Men also have a respected place in society - these are not D&D drow! The isolated realm stands poised on the brink of an age of exploration and discovery - an age of adventure!

Ianthe is the name of a more 'organic' setting. Most of the nations of Ianthe started out as a few lines of descriptive text and were fleshed out through the course of game play, over many years. The result is a fun, lived-in world with a great deal more recent history than ancient history. The most persistent themes in Ianthe are the machinations of half-elven, half-demon creatures bent on the destruction of the elves and eventual domination of the world. Their subtle and long-term plans have shaped the course of several of Ianthe's nations.

Annwn is a new project, an attempt to create an Otherworld for Ianthe. The realms of Annwn (pronounced ah-NOON) will be based off of real-world myths and legends.
