The Cainites
The Cainites of Salisbury are ruled by the iron fist of Davarohn.
Lord Davarohn
If it weren't for Anthony--Davarohn's Childer--there would not be anyone in
town that has seen the city's Lord in the last three years.
Lextalionis: The Laws of Davrohn
Beware all ye Cainites of Salisbury and Sarum. The grace and goodness
of thine elder is great and magnanimous, but his wrath is not to be ignored.
Peace to all those who follow the laws of thine elder and death to those who
do not heed.
- I. Silence
- Thou shalt keep thy true nature hidden from those not of the blood.
- II. Legacy
- Thou shalt not endeavor to go against thy curse. To do so is a sin against Caine.
- III. Progeny
- Thou shalt only sire with my permission
- IV. Accounting
- Thy progeny are to be taught the lessons of Caine. Thou art to command them in all things. Their sins are thine.
- V. Domain
- Thy domain is thy concern, all others owe thee respect there, and are not to challenge thee.
- VI. Destruction
- Thou art forbidden to destroy another of thy kind. Only I may call upon the Blood Hunt.
- VII. Inquisition
- No Cainite may take arms against the might of the Church. To do so brings their wrath upon us all.
- VIII. Feeding
- Thou mayest drink of all in my domain save the Duke Seon and his family, those of the Changing Breed, and the Fae Folk of Myth.
- IV. Peace
- Thou shall not take arms against those of the Changing Breed. Their struggles are not against us, nor ours against them.
- X. Lineage
- None of the Caitiff shall be allowed to reside in the unless they become a ward of one of the Clan Elders. The Cainite shall be thereafter a Childe of that Clan's Elder.
The Clans
- Assamite
- The Saracens are rare in Salisbury, but not unheard of. In recent years
the Clan has vacated most of England in an effort to protect their homeland
from Crusaders.
- Brujah
- The Brujah are small in numbers, and their members are all Neonates and
Ancilla. They seem to congregate near the Docks, and have no clan structure
to speak of, or maybe that's what they want you to think.
- Cappodacian
- One of the more respected clans in Salisbury are the Cappodacians. Word
has just entered the city that their Clan Founder has become a victim of
Amaranth from the hands of his own Childer, and this has had a notable effect
upon the Cainites in the area.
- Followers of Set
- The Serpents have never been seen in the town, though that may be
changing as the clan begins to expand it's territory.
- Gangrel
- The woods just south of Salisbury Plain hold the domain of the
- Lasombra
- The Lasombra in the city are recent immigrants from Spain. Presently
there are just two of the Magisters both of whom reside near in
Salisbury Plain, in the newly erected Casa del Negro>--or as the
villagers call itBlack Manor
- Malkavian
-
- Nosferatu
-
- Ravnos
-
- Toreador
-
- Tremere
-
- Tzimisce
-
- Ventrue
- The Ventrue are a force not to be ignored. Obviously their Elder-
-Davarohn--is the Lord of the city, and is easily the most powerful Cainite
in the area. The others are his Scions, and
- Others
- Not many Cainites come not from the thirteen. One Caitiff has been
uncovered as a Salubri, and is now being held by the Church. One other
"wise-woman" in known in the area as a Caitiff, but has been "adopted" into
Clan Gangrel, "As no Cainite in the city shall recognized as Clanless."
