Upon the Reign of Emperor Tang and his anarcist forces in the north, the loyal armies of Empress Shi-Lian took up a second reign, setting in place, one of the longest reigns of all Rulers. The two had thousands of men in their armies, and Heaven had tired out of the battles, seeing both sides as potential enemies. This was the only time that the three powers had not trusted each other. All except for the Queen Mother and the Goddess of Mercy, who supported the Empress.
It was the 221st year of civil war, and both sides had refused defeat. Shi-Lian's armies had beaten most of Tang's districts into mush, while the main Tang forces conducted raids and small skirmishes in towns and villages, stealing and looting for their desired resources, and several stalemates formed along the borders of Huang.
The Firebird riders of Shi-Lian had
scouted the thick forests and mountainous ranges of the Dragonspire Mountains.
It was a patrol, lead by a champion, Tin-Kwan had seen a sight which no
one in Cathay had ever seen before.
"A massive structure of stone and metal, as long as a pagoda and painted
completely black, emitting a strong aura of evil. 8 of these I saw. These
massive ships were not here for peace, but war!"
No sooner had Tin-Kwan returned to Gnok-Kay, the Empress heard of his story, and considered several possibilities, ranging from sending a massive army to cut through the Tang territory to meet this new force. Gathering her ambassadors, she send them to Tang, where a temporary peace was settled, the first cease-fire in 200 years!
Emperor Tang and Empress Shi-Lian gathered their largest armies to the port of Sin-Lao, where from a distance, they saw the destruction of the guarding Junk Fleet!
Flames blazing aboard their ships, the wreckages were only rammed asside by the massive arks, the hundreds of Bomb Cannons began to fire, from the cliffs of the Guarding Mountains, which lay on all sides of the port.
Hundreds of Bombs were fired from their cannons, as explosions blasted the arks from a distance. Hundreds of Rocketmen stood at the city port, firing their missiles right at the incoming ships, but the thick hulls were too powerful for their weapons to penetrate. The two rulers called for a retreat into the heart of the port city, where their army hid amoung every street corner, building and crate.
From almost every imaginable point, the massive ships stopped at shore, and from their insides, vomited the incredible Dark Elf Invasion force! The Empress watched in horror as their daemonic harpies and cold ones stood at the shores, ready to sack and ravage the land which awaited the. However Tang would never give them that chance, as he sounded his mighty war drums!
The Cathayan troops emerged from the streets, well armed and fiercely met the evil elves at the docks! Blades crashing and sparks blasting side to side, swords met spears and halberd met giks as the two armies battled through every point of the port. Shi-Lian's magical blessed banner shot a cloud of arrows at the cursed witch elves who managed to break free from a combined attack from several groups of Watchers.
As the battle continued, a glittering beam of light came from the skies, as the clouds opened up, forming a gate of some sort, with the heavenly soldiers pouring out from it! In the front were the Sun God Erlang, his heavnely hound, and a massive group of statuesque Guard, escorting the Queen Mother herself!
The Heavenly Cavalry of Jade Horsemen spead through the skies on their heavenly steeds, who flew atop of their magical clouds and crashed against the Cold One Knights in a bloody battle, where both sides attacked with a frenzied temper. The Heavenly soldiers flew atop the mighty Black Arcs as they boarded and fought the crew.
From the tallest spire of the largest Black Arc stood a figure, encaped in black robes, and sending bolts of evil energies towards the armies. The Queen Mother's guards formed an invincible wall around her as she send incantations of her own magics to the sorceror, as the two were locked in a spectacular magical duel. The Witch Elves of Khaine, caught their match! Their blood lustfilled eyes focused on the Maiden Guard of the Queen Mother! They sprinted across the streets, waving their daggers and blades in the air, as they insanely engaged the maiden guard, who were incredibly strong, compared to the Witch Elves, who refused to give up!
Meanwhile, the repeater bolt throwers of the Elves shot their volleys of bolts from their safe spots in the arks, cutting down several cathayan regiments! However with a sneaking tactic, Yang, a local hero and his own army of Firebird and Pheonix Riders decended on them, from behind! Their massive birds terrified the artillery defending troops, who only with bare energy fought back. Yang's spear pierced uncounted numbers that moment, as his loyal Firebird, Tin-Sing defended his master!
Emperor Tang himself drank of his magical potion, and charged, under the escort of his personal Palace Guard, used his mighty spear of Miyano and caught the bodies of 9 dark elves, one of them the invasion Battle Standard upon his weapon! Terrified, several elves ran in retreat, but several stayed and countered. Tang himself and his guard fought back in fierce determination, as his immortal abilities allowed him to survive several normally instant-death hits.
Shi-Lian, meanwhile also attacked the eastern end of the Dark Elf Army, where the large concentration of Black Guard were. Her presence alone inspired her troops never to give up! Meanwhile, scounts and riflemen, atop the buildings continued to shoot down more and more dark elves!
Then, the Dark Elf General, upon a mighty war hydra signaled a full retreat! The Cathayans and Heavenly Soldiers pursued the Elves, even as they boarded their ships, which turned back and headed back, under the heavy firepower, of a returning Junk Patrol!
The Victory was acheived!
However, weeks later, the Dark Elves
had landed once again, but this time, in Jade Land! They attacked, but
did not destroy the cities, but rather, thrived on raids, where through
the Southern Jade Pass, they entered Cathay, and caused a swath of destruction!
Later, Tang lead another army, which this time, killed every single elf.
