The Kindred of the City met at Turley Park for the celebration of Dean Adams' "birthday" (Embrace day). In celebration, the Dean attempted to overthrow the Prince and place himself in that position. Although the Dean had considerable support, Max's majestic nature prevented most of these supporters from doing anything to harm him. Darstab (Gangrel) shot the Prince, beginning a massive combat during which Darstab was killed outright, and the Dean was staked. In the ensuing confusion, while various Kindred cleaned up the many Masquerade breaches, the Dean's body disappeared. A search party headed by Cullin, the new Seneschal, turned up nothing.

April 9

The Kindred of the City met at the Student Center for a Primogen meeting. During the meeting, the Primogen announced that Max Pride was not Toreador, but rather was a Daughter of Cacophany (Son of Discord). The Primogen gave him the options of stepping down or being destroyed; he chose the former. The Primogen offered Jack Jenkins the position of Prince; he accepted. The Primogen stated that they would not be accepting any new members. Dean Adams returned, having been revived earlier in the evening, and the Primogen told him he was no longer a part of the Primogen. Most of the city's Kindred have chosen to be under Dick's leadership, but a few have selected the other Primogen members as their representatives.
