The X-Files
A Science Fiction Television Show
The X-Files is one of my personal favorite television
shows, and is hopefully one of yours, too. If you are unsure of exactly what the
show is about, then a provided brief description should provide the needed
backing required to fully understand the series.
 The X-Files is a popular, and highly rated television show, that can be watched
primetime on the "Fox Network." This science fiction production revolves around
government conspiracies and alien colonization of the Earth. It also includes
episodes on strange phenomenon, and paranormal activity. Centering about two FBI
agents -assigned to investigate a series of unexplained cases (listed as files
under the classification of "X"), Agents FOX MULDER
and DANA
SCULLY become deeply involved and entangled within alien activity and
various government cover up's. Although modern individual episodes focus on the
smaller individual cases encountered by the agents, the series as a whole comes
together to reveal a contorted plot involving "higher government authority" and
alien colonization. Many of their cases are left unsolved, but the agents almost
always find themselves one step closer at disclosing the truth about what the
government is hiding. The shows many varied subjects leave the viewer hanging on
a level of thinking beyond what is encountered in everyday life. This elevated
level of thinking and understanding is what draws me to the show. I personally
love the format and casting of the show, and the presentation of the many very
unique possibilities presented -and how ludicrously realistic they all seem!
