Silver Beauty

I can hear the chime of the bell
"Twelve O’clock and all is well"
Watching the sea with the stars above
Realizing how it feels to be in love

The crash of the waves against the rocks
Naked, my feet hang off the docks
The breeze whips my hair into a mess
I don’t care, it carries away my stress

Awestruck I watch her in all her glory
Behind her beauty is a wonderful story
She crosses many mountains and seas
Shining high above, the things she sees

Soon we will separate, she must go her way
I plead my case and ask her to stay
She says no but she will return another day
With her passing, arrives another lonely day.
