J.R.R. Tolkien is unmatched in his writings of the Lord of Rings Series and The Hobbit. He is the Father of Science Fiction Fantasy as we know it. His characters have become mainstays in Fantasy culture. His books will endure long after we all pass. Simply riveting !!!!

1. The Tolkien Society - Yes, there is a society for the man. This is a professionally setup page with some interesting areas. It has a library from which material can be signed out. The society has an archive of his works in many different languages. There is the drawback that a member's area exists but other than that it is a good page. They are evening planning on a raising funds for a park.

2. Welcome to The World of J.R.R Tolkien - This site provides a simple yet good layout. It contains a gallery of artwork and a page of maps. Visitors can send in there articles to be posted.

3. Erik Lidälv's Tolkien Page - Firstly, this page has an English and Swedish versions. Cool. The layout is impressive. There is a chat are that I have not been in. There is a challenging quiz open to visitors. An extensive list of Tolkien's books. It is part of the Tolkien web ring as well. Check this one out!

4. The World of Middle Earth - I did not explore this page but it looks to be another impressive Tolkien page. It is available in Swedish as well. There is art on this page as well.

5. Wizard's Castle - Ok .. I am really listing this site cause I like the name. It is a good site with a simple easy to follow layout.
