Help is Always Just a Button Click Away

This Website tries to be extremely user and browser friendly. As it's author and creator, I'm putting this page here to help out even "first day newbies." :-)

You may have already discovered, the WWW is a generally an intuitive place, and most folks seem to get around pretty well (even without a lot of help from guys like me) so I'll try to keep most of my info Brand-X Website specific. But seeing as you've clicked for help, :-) I'll be blending in a little info about the internet at large. If you really are a newbie, you may appreciate this and may even want to thank me someday. Perhaps you'll even tell future newbies to visit as well.

Look! Up in the sky...

If you look at the top left hand side of the webpage, you should see several Buttons, (you know, what most Windows users call icon). Just as you clicked on the help button to get to this page, you can click on any of the other buttons to get to other pages here on this website.

Would you like a little practice right now? Ok, see the one that reads "Click me?" Go ahead and click on it.

Starting at the Top

Here is a list of what you can expect each button to do on a Brand-X webpage. You may not find all of these button on every page here, so some of this info is simply a general referance.

1. Enter - The Brand-X Logo page.
2. Welcome - The Welcome page.
3. Home - The Main page. Provides links to pages of interest.
4. Help - This page is the Help page.
5. Info - A page to learn about the Brand-X concept.
6. Links - A page with Links to other websites. *
7. About Me - Info on the Brand-X creator.
8. Back - Will vary depending on the page.
9. Next - So will this one.
10. Click Me - Comes in handy for pactice. :-)
11. E-Mail - For sending a quick e-mail to the author.
12. Web Ring - In case I join one, I'll use this button. *
13. Guest Book - At present, unused. *
14. Sign - A link to sign the Guest Book I don't have yet. *
15. View - A link to view the Guest Book I don't have yet. *
16. Search - A page of my favorite Search Engines *
17. Exit - A good-bye page. *

Concerning other Website

You can also click on any colored, underlined text to bring you to another webpage. This special text is known as a hyperlink or HTML link. Some hypertext links will take a surfer offsite. By that I mean to another website entirely. A good webpage designer will inform his or her readers that a link will be taking him or her to another site.

I have placed at least a one button on every page created for this website. If you click one, it will always bring you to another Brand-X page. I can make no promises about there being icons on other websites across the internet, but most folks seem to get by just using the browser backward button (avalible on most modern browsers) to get themselves out of trouble even on the most poorly designed websites.

I hope to write a lot more helpful info in the future, but for now this is all of it. To enjoy more of what this site has to offer, just head to the home page. By now you should know which button to use. :-)
