What is Miracle all about then??

The Miracle Organisation was founded in 1984 with the production of it's first ever game - called THE TOILET, written by the author then known as Wiz. The Toilet was released on Spectrum, and was a classic style text adventure which were much the rage those days..
4 years later, the game was re-written for the Amstrad 8152 - under the new author name of BUDD - without much sucess and was never released on that format. A further year later (1989) and the game was re-written again, this time for the IBM Compatible computer - under the authors new name of Captain Slog. Written in Microsoft QuickBasic, it had very limited release.
Later that year - production started on a new game. GOING BOLDLY was written - also in text adventure form. Following on from many hard disk failures and being forced to re-write vast chunks of data again and again and again and again - I had a brief rest from the programming.. This was in 1993, and i started work on TOILET 2 - BOGS REVENGE. This game - unfortunatly - only got as far as the thinking stage, and was never started due to my mind being set on finishing Going Boldly. At this time I also began writting some stories based on the adventures of the crew. These stories were released via the Miracle Publishing arm of the organisation and were released via EchoMail (trek.uk and treknet on Fidonet) and also via the Silicon Heaven BBS. Although I have lost many of them - I have included as many as I can find on this page. I have tried to contact old associates of mine to see if they still some hidden away on hard disks, but do not hold out much luck.. I suppose in time - they will become the stuff of legends - like the missing Dr. Who episodes..

Miracle Web Publishing was founded in late 1999 with the merging of Miracle Software and Miracle Publishing. I now go by the handle Captain Stable - and do continue to write wacky stories every now and then.. When i do - rest assured they will appear here first :)
