R2-D2
R2-D2 is an astromech with an attitude. One of the greatest unsung heroes of the Rebellion, R2 has transferred stolen Death Star plans to the Alliance, saved all of his friends by reactivating the hyperdrive unit on the Millennium Falcon, and aided Luke in his history making flight down the Death Star trench. The times he's been fried in the line of duty are too numerous to count. R2-D2 has definitly proven himself to be a valued member of the Alliance.
