Trek Wars

Notes

Well, this is Trek Wars. After reading some of the stuff floating around the net concerning Star Trek and Star Wars parodies, I decided to write my own parody. I thought I could do at least as good, if not better, than all those others. I don't know; I'm no good at self-criticism, I think no one is. Enough philosophy (I'll leave that to Picard)

This parody contains references to lots of things in and out of Star Trek and Star Wars. Some of these won't be immediately apparent. I'd like to thank the creators of the following:

I'm sorry if I've offended anyone. Someone, somewhere is always offended by anything that anyone does. (That doesn't make much sense, does it? That's because it's 2330hrs on a weekday)

All the copyrights of everything are held by the copyright-owners, but I'll take credit for putting the parody together.

The reference, to Cauchy-Reimann equations is from some math I learned, and the Tyndall reference is to my 12th standard Chemistry. Don't ask. You don't want to know. Ok, the answer's 42.

One other thing: although unnamed ensigns die in this story, McCoy never once gets a chance to say "He's dead, Jim!" Sorry about that...

By the way, people have asked me where I came up with the name 'Trek Wars'. It just popped into my head, so I may have lifted it unconsciously from somewhere. As far as I know, I removed the 'Star' from 'Star Trek' and 'Star Wars', and after that 'Trek Wars' seemed logical.

Give me feedback on this! I have no way of knowing if this thing is reaching anyone!
