To be a Novice is to live a life of hard work and little comfort. Novices live in small rooms which they must keep immaculate and dress in simple white clothing with no adornment. Their days are consumed by endless chores and lessons, forging their spirits and preparing their minds. Now is the time when they will learn the most basic aspects of the Power, of grasping it and controlling it.
