The Lord's Army

Magic and might face each other in the light of the full moon
As Good and Evil collide in bloody combat
This war will be over none too soon
For Evil is hard to drive back

Sword and shield clash with spear and bow
Each trying to win the upper hand
The battle rages on, fast and slow
Totally destroying the nearby land

Both forces fight for the land of Sera Calle
A land rich in gold, silver, and steel
It's hard to believe this war is fough over a land so small.
The grass will never grown as green; the land will slowly heal

The battle seemed lost for the forces of Good
When a robed figure suddenly appeared
Dressed in white, his face hidden by a hood
This is what the forces of Evil feared

He raised his arm and the Evil stopped in mid-step
Now still and silent was the evil hoard.
The armies of Good suddenly had renewed vigor
The white robed figure was an Angel of the Lord

"Begone Evil, never return," his voice was loud and true.
Over the shoulder, his flying army came
The sky took on a whitish hue
The Army of the Lord fought and won this game

The Evil dropped their weapons and fled
All the soldiers of Good cheered
"No more innocent blood shall be shed,"
The Angel said, as the tired warriors peered

With that he turned and walked away,
never to be seen in Sera Calle again
The General of Good, "Evil was defeated this day,"
Of that war, no more goodness was slain

Now Sera Calle is lush and green
The Armies of Goodness are now the Farmers of Light
Never again has the evil been seen
Since the Angels of the Lord made their flight
