OOC: I'm moving the thread of the welcome back to Fal Dara up here because so many people are posting and it'll get lost if I kept it down below. :-D

As the devasted party of Shienerans and Tar Valon soldiers entered the gates of Fal Dara, a huge cheer rose from the people amassed within the court yard. Toreene barely heard them. In front of Alallein's stallion stood Lord Agelmar and Nyal Gaidin.

Carefully, she dismounted, Al following suit. She straigtened and spoke calmly, "Lord Agelmar, the Waygate is closed. Only the songs of the elder Ogier can re-open it now." He nodded slowly and looked at the tall man standing beside her.

"Thank you Toreene Sedai. The Borderlands are endebted to you. If I may ask, how many soldiers are left?"

The Saldean answered simply with, "One hundred from the original four hundred my lord." Exhaustion was evident on the faces of everyone around her. She looked around to find Rocar and Janira leaning against a wall, apparently resting, and Aroura and Elayne were standing a little ways off, preparing to leave again.

The lord of Fal Dara nodded again to Al and the Aes Sedai. "Please replenish yourselves. We mount to ride and clear the Boderlands of these filthy Trollocs. With my men, Tar Valon's and the three Aes Sedai we will clear it before nightfall."

Toreene opened her mouth to protest and say that she would join them, but Al put a hand on her shoulder and smiled at her. Whispering, "You need rest my Blue Aes Sedai. I will not see you burn yourself out this young. You will rest, clean up and help later if you can." She glared at her future Warder but said nothing, shuting her mouth with an audible click. Her temper simmered.

Of course he was right, but that didn't make it any easier to take. Her eyes glittering she looked at the tall, muscular lord. "I will rest Lord Agelmar, but if you have any need for me this evening, do not hesitate to send a rider for myself and Alallein." This time he opened his mouth to protest but she cut him off. "You need rest too my friend. And I will not see you die this day, due to lack of rest." His eyes flashed but he said nothing, only glowering a little........
