Modem connection speed tests

The tests at the sites listed below use different file names, so you should be able to
run all of them without having to clear your cache in betweeen them. Further instructions
about clearing your cache for the tests are listed at each web site.

For some unknown reason you can run this one multiple times without having to clear your cache.
GeoCities web site (California)

For these two, you may need to clear your cache if you want to run the test multiple times.
Xoom web site (California ?)
Angelfire web site (?)

NOTE: Your connection speed rates will vary between these web sites depending on the
amount of traffic being handled by the internet links connecting to them, and how busy
their servers are at the time. In fact, you will get different results each time you run
the tests because the amount of traffic on the internet does vary from moment to moment.
The original test only ran one pass. I have altered it to run ten passes to show how
much things do vary even when loading just a single web page. The results may be less
accurate this way, but you should be able to get a better idea about how well your modem,
internet provider, and the internet in general are operating.
