Zelgadis was standing near a shelf in the library, regarding his new acquisition.
"Zelgadis Greywords!" Zelgadis whirled around and found Lina standing in front of him, her eyes fixed on him.
He smiled, Lina had been avoiding him lately, she had even gone so far as to stop spending nights in their room, it was definitely better that she had started talking to him again.
"Yes Lina?"
"Hush! Don't speak! I'll do the talking here and if you interrupt me I will not be able to tell you everything I have to say." Lina made a pause then looked directly into Zelgadis eyes, who was more confused than ever.
Lina breathed in deeply. Now or never...
"Zelgadis Greywords, I don't know how you'll take this, but I will die if I don't tell you." she made another pause, "I... I love you." then she started talking really fast, "AndIdon'tcareifyoudon'tlovemeandonlylikemeasafriend, Iwillloveyouforever!" tears rolled down her cheek and she wiped them away with her sleeve.
Now let me get out of here and finish this humiliation! Lina turned around and ran out of the library, slamming the door behind her.
Zelgadis let the book he was holding fall to the floor then he slowly sat on the ground. She loves me?... Lina Inverse loves me??... Zelgadis put a hand on his forehead. Lina loved him.
Fesis was walking down the corridor and thinking about going to clean the library when she heard a scream inside.
"YAHOO!!!"
"Zel is getting weirder by the day." she murmured to herself and decided against going inside to clean, "Lufia will probably need some help in the kitchen."
Dynast's priestess sat down next to the feet of her master. Sherra had walked over to Valgarv and had made herself comfortable on his lap while he had put his arms around her waist. They were all waiting for Shabranigdu to show up.
On the other side of the room was Garv trying to make his approaches to Dalphin, she on the other hand was teleporting from one place to another making it impossible for the Chaos Dragon to get even somewhere near her. Garv's general was talking to Agaroth not letting her eyes of Val and Sherra. Kolary suspected that the girl was planing all sort of 'nice' and painful ways to get Sherra away from, as Mia would say, HER Val.
Kolary's eyes wandered to another part of the room. Xellas Metallium was in her beast from lying next to her priest and general Xellos who was talking to Genvan.
The last to arrive were the Hellmaster and Kaana. The blue-haired boy let his green eyes wander through the room. Then Kaana picked her master up in her arms and leaned against a near wall.
Kolary noticed the Mazoku Lord's arrival as a shudder over came her, he had teleported himself and his knight into the room.
The Beastmaster stood up turning into her human looking form as Shabranigdu appeared. She looked at him, she had hoped to see him in the form of Lei Magnus her ex-lover, but how it seemed the Lord had decided differently... disappointment filled her, but she would not show it, not here in front of all the others, not after having been humiliated by the others so many centuries ago...
Kaana noticed the figure sitting on Shabranigdu's shoulder. It had his legs crossed and had its head was supported on its hand. The knight's ruby eyes glittered with amusement as it looked down at them as if they were slugs. Kaana saw the Mazoku Lord turn around and at the same time going over into the form of Lei Magnus, her vision was filled for a moment by his cape as he walked over to his seat. The knight floated next to its master holding something in its hand.
"We are going to crush down those stupid rebels once and for all." she heard the knight's voice.
Silence filled the room for a moment then suddenly everybody started to talk at once until Dynast raised his voice and shouted: "Shut up!"
They all silenced again and looked at him.
"What was that again?" he looked over to Lei Magnus.
"We are going to destroy the rebels." Lei's voice echoed through the room.
"But how are we suppose to do that, I mean we haven't been very successful the last centuries and we don't even know where they are hiding." said Dalphin who had stopped teleporting and to Garv's luck was standing next to him.
"With this!" the knight waved with some papers at them, "I designed this plan myself." it grinned malicious. If the traitor doesn't fall for this I don't know what might do so...
Phibrizio clapped his hand together and smiled like a child who had been just given a candy, "Kill them all."
Xellos opened his eyes and raised eyebrow, "How exactly are we going to attack?"
