This is the Shuttle Ops and the Course Selector. We need to lay in
a course before we go to warp or else we'll be ripped to shreds.. Next
to it is the Forward Navigational Scan window. The navigator, in this case
mister Perre, needs this to help plot a course...
Well, here we have the Warp Coil/Engine controls and the RCS/Impulse
Engine controls. These controls are for the engines itself, not for movement.
The most important things can be controlled from here, but we do need the
engine room to be manned at all times. Onto the next...
Well, half of these controls are almost never used on starships; the
landing controls. Although it works quite well and our helmsmen are trained
in it, to this day there has been no recording on an Intrepid-class vessel
having to land the ship on the surface. Below we see another part of the
warp system comtrols. to the right of that we see the helmsmen domain,
right Carlos?
Haha, well, from here the helmsman, in this case lt.
Carlos Bianca here, can persway the engines to go a certain way. Very
handy if you have a destination in mind! Well, that's it over here, let's
move on to the next part of the ship.... Oh no, one more thing I need to
show you; the thing all Starfleet captains fear.....
....the Omega Directive! The Omega molecule is said to be the most powerfull
molecule in the universe. Whenever the scanners pick it up and this appears
on the screen (this is only picture from the database), Starfleet captains
have the orders to take action to make sure this molecule is destroyed,
for if an accident occurs and it all blows up, it could mean that no warp
travel will be possible any longer! Ok, let's move on...
