He played mid-field and entered, and won, several competitions with his team (Club Brugge Junioren). When he attended Starfleet Academy he worked together with several other football fans in creating a holodeck program for this activity so that the football fans could continue their hobby aboard startships and starbases. They managed to recreate many of the stars and trainers in the program making it a great success.
After he graduated from the Academy he go assigned to the U.S.S. Furlon. After that ship was decommissioned he was transferred to the new U.S.S. DeRuyter.
