I just started watching The Sentinel on UPN at the end of the last season (and there was a cliffhanger!) and UPN had cancelled the show after that season, but recently UPN has commissioned 8 new episodes due to the efforts of fans writing, emailing and faxing letters to UPN, Paramount, Chris-Craft (owners of UPN), and others.
