I. We all know about Methos, but which other Immortal
character called himself Death?
II. OK, just one more about vehicles! This time,
here are some fun facts about "The Bird."
1. The Thunderbird's license number?
2. Name four people *other than* DM we see driving it--& name the
eps.
3. Name the eps where we see:
a. a remote opener for its roof/trunk
b. DM & RR working together on it
c. it breaks down on the road (or at least
needs oil)
d. it refuses to start
e. it is stolen
f. a window or windows are shot out--2 eps
g. RR breaks into it
h. its windshield is smashed
i. it gets a parking ticket
j. it is featured in a lovely time-lapse photography
effect
4. It was last seen (current action, not old clips) in which ep?
5. What happened to the actual car after the show ended?
III. We all know and love Duncan MacLeod as
a sensible, logical and "Do the Right Thing" kinda guy (at least most of
the time). Tell me the one thing he does that is, IMO, the stupidest thing
anyone could do. This has nothing to do with immortals. It's something
you or I could do (but wouldn't) and every
time you see it, you say "Why did he do that?" Please name the episode
and what it was he did. As I know that what *I* think is stupid, you may
not, I will list all you answer back, but really, There Is Only One (he,
he - a play on words, I couldn't help myself).
IV. Here's something completely different,
yet fun & familiar, I hope! USA just finished running season one, so
I thought we could finish out Last Lines.
So, here are 22 last lines--match them to the season one eps. In a
couple of cases, 2 people spoke at the very end--that's where there are
2 sets of quotation marks. (Feel free to add who's talking to whom, if
you like.)
1--"Nah, not really--just trying to be nice."
2--"See ya, _______."
3--"So now, old friend, travel on. Go where you never went. I'll miss
you."
4--"______________, now you've crossed the line. Next time, I'll kill
you."
5--"You didn't say goodbye?" "We never do."
6--"May the winds be with you."
7--"Come on."
8--"Hey, you get to decide who you are. Not many people get that chance."
9--"I took care of him."
10--"Let me tell you a story."
11--"You have no idea."
12--"Go get your life back together again, __________." "Sure."
13--"_________, leave the book."
14--"Duncan!"
15--"Duncan!" (Yes--there are 2 of these)
16--"You have a long memory." "Yeah, I have to."
17--"Someone--call an ambulance!"
18--"He's still out there somewhere. He'll be back."
19--"Roger. Medical Examiner is on his way up."
20--"________, I'm sorry."
21--"MacLeod! MacLeod--you in there? MacLeod?!"
V. One of the physical aspects of HL is the sword
fighting. In the traditional sense or fencing, there are rules and etiquette.
One of them is to announce "En Garde!" Name the episodes and the
people who announce En Garde before beginning to fence.
VI. In this traditional season of peace, name the
episodes where someone flashed the peace sign, as well as the characters
who made the gesture & the circumstances.
VII. In honor of our return to HL:TS questions and
the fact that Jim Bynes will be reprising his role of Joe Dawson on HL:TR,
please tell me who said the
following quote - person and episode. HINT: Two different people said
it in two different episodes. Please list both. "Everybody comes
to Joe's."
VIII. Name the HL:TS episodes where we see an Immortal(s)
beheaded and give the name of said Immortal(s).
IX. A quick & simple HL:TS question. Think about
the FBs. Which actual, full-fledged FB (not clips from previous eps) was
the most ancient in time, & which was the most recent in time? Name
the eps & the dates.
X. When we think of musicians in connection with HL:TS,
the character who comes first to mind, of course, is Joe. But we have seen
DM himself playing an
instrument on at least two separate occasions. Name the instruments
and the episodes.
XI. During the six season run of HL, we have seen
Duncan MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod take a lot of quickenings. The ones
in the later seasons were often spectacular. Now we all know that according
to HL canon, the closest immortal gets the Q, right? Well, there was one
episode where it "appeared" that DM deflected the quickening away from
himself. Now this probably was just a bad job by the special effects guys,
but I never saw a Q like this in any other ep, before or after. Do you
know which quickening I'm referring to? What ep, & who was the K'immie?
XII. Name the episodes in HL:TS where something
supernatural happens (other than Quickenings).
XIII. Okay, back to HLTS stuff. More specifically,
Richie stuff. He's had some great lines describing himself and his situation.
Name the episode and who he's talking to when he describes himself or his
situation in the following manner:
1. "I'm an idiot."
2. "Waiting's not my thing."
3. "I am Duncan MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod."
4. "...bright, but lazy."
5. "...a sex object."
6. "I'm wanderin' around this place, turning like fish-belly white,
growing this phosphorescent tendril outta my forehead, like some bottom-dwelling
sea urchin..."
7. "I just took a $60,000 hit, I wanna kill someone!"
8. "I'm learning,..."
9. "I'm your friend. I am NOT your friend."
10. "..it's all backwards now."
XIV. I've read that Adrian Paul as director banned
smoking on the set of The Modern Prometheus, yet Duncan MacLeod was known
to enjoy the occasional cigar. Name the eps we saw DM smoking a cigar.
XV. Staying on the subject of quickenings, traditionally,
when Duncan takes a quickening, he is on his feet or on his knees............sometimes
both.
But, there was one powerful Q that spun him around in a circle and
pinned him to the wall. Can you name the episode & the K'immie?
XVI. This week I will list what I call "Quotable
Quotes." Quotes from HL:TS I love. Tell me who said it, in which episode
and any other pertinent info
you want.
1. "Come to me and die!"
2. "The good news is I'm rusty, I might miss. The bad new is I'm really
pissed."
3. "Got a lot of history_____ . Things accumulate."
4. "The best day is always the one you're in."
5. "Oh-h-h, that's gotta hurt."
6. "You smell good."
7. "All those women; all that wine."
8. "You never confuse people with what they don't need to know."
9. "I hate this part."
10. "We live, we grow stronger, and then we fight."
11. "Well, that was a big one, wasn't it?"
12. "Thank you, master of the bloody obvious."
13. "We observe, record, and stay the hell out of it."
14. "Imagine it. LIVE IT!"
15. "I'll just get my coat."
XVII. 1. Name the episode(s) where the same flashback
is shown more than once. By this I mean the FB is repeated in the
same episode.
2. Name the two episodes where Mel Gibson is mentioned; who mentions
him to whom and what are the circumstances.
XVIII. Things that happen in 2's tend to
get my attention. Here are a few 2-fors in HL:TS. Names & eps, please.
a. 2 women who knee DM in the groin.
b. 2 Immortals DM breaks out of the morgue.
c. 2 Immortals who are temporarily dead when they receive a Quickening.
d. 2 different priests played by the same actor.
e. 2 times Anne returns DM's loft elevator key.
f. 2 times we're shown one certain character being BH'd (& by *different*
foes).
g. 2 names appearing on the barge's plaques.
XIX. Keeping to the short question theme, this week's
focuses on a single episode, Epitaph for Tommy. Underrated in a lot of
ways (slipping a little
editorial comment in), this ep also contained not one but two "one
of a kind" occurrences: things that happened only once in the entirety
of the
series. One of them happened within the context of the story itself,
the other in the administrative framing that accompanies every ep. What
are
these unique occurrences? (I hope the question makes sense--
I couldn't get a whole lot more specific without providing the answers!)
XX. Duncan seems to have spent a lot of time getting
around history on horseback.........(and he seems to have had a kind of
love/hate relationship with horses, doesn't he?) but I digress, what other
means of transportation have we seen Duncan use over the years? And
be specific, if it was a car, what kind of car. Name the mode of transportation,
and of course, the episode.
I. We all know about Methos, but which other Immortal
character called himself Death? ----- Xavier St. Cloud in 'Unholy Alliance
I'... in the very first scene you see the immie in the parkade. Just
before Xavier's about to whack him he asks "who the hell are you" or something
along those lines, and Xavier replies..."Death."
II. OK, just one more about vehicles! This time, here are some fun facts about "The Bird."
1. The Thunderbird's license number? --827 KEG/lots of eps
2. Name four people *other than* DM we see driving it--& name the eps. --Here's 5--*RR*/Innocent Man (DM let him drive to Steveston) & Sea Witch (well, he hopped into the driver's seat at the end, apparently planning to drive Nikki & her daughter to the bus station), *Dr. Wilder*/Deadly Medicine (when he grabbed DM, he also stole the car), *Tessa*/See No Evil (at the end, she rammed the Scalper), *Cassandra*/Prophecy (when she screamed during DM's 1st encounter w/ Kantos, DM fell down the hill & then she bundled him into the car & drove them off) & *Cory Raines*/Money No Object (when Cory trailed DM, who was driving the wired Saab)
3. Name the eps where we see:
a. a remote opener for its roof/trunk--Little Tin God (teaser--DM grabbed
the katana out of it to fight Derek & his pals)
b. DM & RR working together on it--Family Tree
c. it breaks down on the road (or at least needs oil)--Innocent Man
(looked like DM added oil & then he & Tessa left it on the side
of the road to walk the rest of the way to Lucas' cabin)
d. it refuses to start--for RR in Under Color of Authority
e. it is stolen--by Dr. Wilder in Deadly Medicine
f. a window or windows are shot out--2 eps--by Ballin (trying to kill
Tessa) in Eyewitness & by rogue Watcher/cop in Run For Your Life
g. RR breaks into it--Innocent Man
h. its windshield is smashed--when Tessa rams the Scalper in See No
Evil
i. it gets a parking ticket--as DM naps at the courthouse at the start
of Bad Day in Building A
j. it is featured in a lovely time-lapse photography effect--in Band
of Brothers, there's a great effect, w/ the car against the city's skyline,
w/ day turning to night, then DM returns to it (after saving Victor Paulus
from the sniper) & Randi hops in to chat
4. It was last seen (current action, not old clips) in which ep?--Comes
a Horseman
5. What happened to the actual car after the show ended?--it was auctioned
off at the Anaheim HL convention, for $61,000 (partly going to charity)
paid by Mike & Karen Huffman
III. We all know and love Duncan MacLeod as a sensible,
logical and "Do the Right Thing" kinda guy (at least most of the time).
Tell me the one thing he does that is, IMO, the stupidest thing anyone
could do. This has nothing to do with immortals. It's something you
or I could do (but wouldn't) and every
time you see it, you say "Why did he do that?" Please name the episode
and what it was he did. As I know that what *I* think is stupid, you may
not, I will list all you answer back, but really, There Is Only One (he,
he - a play on words, I couldn't help myself).
My answer: In The Innocent, at the switching yard, Duncan parks the
T-Bird on the railroad tracks. True - it's a switching yard and trains
are not whizzing by, but there are trains on the tracks and he's in the
way. Stupid! Dangerous! Some of the other answers are listed below. Because
I did specifically say something that had nothing to do with Immortals,
I will leave those comments out and list them below.
1. Promises. Duncan kills Hamad by throwing him out the window.
2. Slept with Anne without really caring for her. (Although we really
DON'T know his true feelings for her.)
3. Vendetta . Took Anne back.
4. Testimony. Took Anne back again.
5. Wore long side burns. (Multiple episodes)
6. Timeless. Played Kate in Taming of the Shrew.
7. Dramatic License. Left his credit card on table at Joe's for Amanda
to find. (I agree - really stupid.)
8. Leader of the Pack. He goes for a run in the park with his sword
in the car unlocked.
9. Ransom of Richard Redstone. Hairstyle. "What was he thinking?"
Some of the Immortal stupid acts.
1. The Darkness. Stayed behind to check out Pallin Wolf's files. (OK,
he is not immortal, but it is kind of immortal business so I am putting
it on the alternate list.)
2. Brothers in Arms. Spared Cord's life.
3. Ahriman. He believed in the unbelievable.
4. The Watchers. He let Horton live. (Again, Horton isn't an immie,
but it is in the realm of Immortal business.)
IV. Here's something completely different, yet fun
& familiar, I hope! USA just finished running season one, so I thought
we could finish out Last Lines.
So, here are 22 last lines--match them to the season one eps. In a
couple of cases, 2 people spoke at the very end--that's where there are
2 sets of quotation marks. (Feel free to add who's talking to whom, if
you like.)
1--"Nah, not really--just trying to be nice."--DM to RR, Eye of the
Beholder
2--"See ya, URSA."--DM to Ursa, The Beast Below
3--"So now, old friend, travel on. Go where you never went. I'll miss
you."--DM's eulogy for Darius, The Hunters
4--"KIEM SUN, now you've crossed the line. Next time, I'll kill you."--DM
to Kiem Sun, The Road Not Taken
5--"You didn't say goodbye?" "We never do."--Tessa & DM, The Gathering
6--"May the winds be with you."--DM to Grace, Saving Grace
7--"Come on."--DM to Tessa, Avenging Angel (& then they dash through
the pigeons--the best part of the whole ep!)
8--"Hey, you get to decide who you are. Not many people get that chance."--DM
to RR, Family Tree
9--"I took care of him."--DM to RR (re: Lucas Desiree), Innocent Man
10--"Let me tell you a story."--Darius to RR, Band of Brothers
11--"You have no idea."--DM to bystander/himself, The Sea Witch
12--"Go get your life back together again, REBECCA." "Sure."--DM &
Rebecca Lord, Revenge is Sweet
13--"AMANDA, leave the book."--DM to Amanda, The Lady & the Tiger
14--"Duncan!"--Tessa to DM, Mountain Men (after the Q)
15--"Duncan!" (Yes--there are 2 of these)--Tessa to DM, Eyewitness
(as they go off the make "coffee")
16--"We never do."--DM to RR, Nowhere to Run
17--"You have a long memory." "Yeah, I have to."--Tessa & DM, Deadly
Medicine
18--"Someone--call an ambulance!--Tessa to group in alley, See No Evil"
19--"He's still out there somewhere. He'll be back."--DM to Tessa (re:
St. Cloud), For Tomorrow We Die
20--"Roger. Medical Examiner is on his way up."--the police radio,
Bad Day in Building A
21--"MAC, I'm sorry."--RR to DM, Free Fall
22--"MacLeod! MacLeod--you in there? MacLeod?!"--LeBrun searching for
DM, For Evil's Sake
V. One of the physical aspects of HL is the sword fighting. In the traditional sense or fencing, there are rules and etiquette. One of them is to announce "En Garde!" Name the episodes and the people who announce En Garde before beginning to fence.
1. Rebecca Lord - Revenge is Sweet.
2. Andy Cord - Band of Brothers.
3. Terence Coventry - Dramatic License.
A bonus: Richie says En Garde in The Gathering when he picks up a sword
from the case before Duncan catches him. (He's actually fighting with a
statue.)
VI. In this traditional season of peace, name the
episodes where someone flashed the peace sign, as well as the characters
who made the gesture & the circumstances.
1. In The Revolutionary, DM gave the peace sign to Charlie as he left
Seacouver & his recurring role on the show.
2. In The Messenger, RR derisively flashed the peace sign to Fake Methos
in the teaser
3. In the tag of that ep, DM gave it to RR as he left Seacouver for
the very last time.
VII. In honor of our return to HL:TS questions and
the fact that Jim Bynes will be reprising his role of Joe Dawson on HL:TR,
please tell me who said the
following quote - person and episode. HINT: Two different people said
it in two different episodes. Please list both. "Everybody comes
to Joe's."
1. Joe says it to Richie in Line of Fire when he comes to Joe for "advice".
2. Andy Cord says it to Charlie outside of Joe's before they fight.

IX. A quick & simple HL:TS question. Think about the FBs. Which actual, full-fledged FB (not clips from previous eps) was the most ancient in time, & which was the most recent in time? Nme the eps & the dates.
OK, this was tougher than it looked.
1. The oldest FB was in Comes a Horseman--when the Four Horsemen raided
Cassandra's village back in the Bronze Age, circa 2,000BC (plus the follow-up
FB in Rev. 6:8). Methos & Company aside, other ancient FBs include
the Nefertiri/Constantine FBs to 30 BC Egypt in Pharaoh's Daughter, as
well as Ceirdwyn's 60AD Britain FB in Take Back the Night.
2. The newest FB is trickier. Some of you seemed to define FBs as set
before the start of the series in 1992; in that case, the 12-31-88 Seacouver
New Years Eve fight/party FB in Revenge is Sweet is the winner. However,
several later eps presented what seemed to be "real" FBs that were set
much later, after the series was running; the latest of these include 2
set in 1996--Richie's FB to his San Francisco BHg of Alec Hill in Haunted
(captioned as 7/96) & Katya's FB to Elena's murder in Justice (captioned
as just 1996. But Kyra (eventually) recalled her judge/lover's murder
in pretty much standard FB form; it wasn't dated on-screen, but in context
seemed to occur maybe weeks prior to the current action in Patient Number
7, which would put it in summer/fall of 1998. If so, that's the newest
FB of the series. And if you narrow it down to *Duncan MacLeod* FBs,
the oldest was Prophecy's look at his childhood meeting of Cassandra in
1606, while the newest was 1988/9 in Revenge is Sweet.
X. When we think of musicians in connection with HL:TS,
the character who comes first to mind, of course, is Joe. But we have seen
DM himself playing an instrument on at least two separate occasions. Name
the instruments and the episodes.
1. The piano; Shadows (in a dream/hallucination)
2. The harmonica; The Revolutionary (fb)
Some of you pointed out that he stroked the keys of a piano in one
or two other eps, but didn't really play (because, as we know, it's one
of the few things he can't do), and one of you mentioned the Tibetan singing
bowl in Armageddon, but that's stretching the definition of *musical instrument*
just a hair, don't you think?
XI. During the six season run of HL, we have seen Duncan MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod take a lot of quickenings. The ones in the later seasons were often spectacular. Now we all know that according to HL canon, the closest immortal gets the Q, right? Well, there was one episode where it "appeared" that DM deflected the quickening away from himself. Now this probably was just a bad job by the special effects guys, but I never saw a Q like this in any other ep, before or after. Do you know which quickening I'm referring to? What ep, & who was the K'immie?
What I was going for here was Sully's Quickening in "The Fighter." If
you watch it, DM has both swords, one in each hand, and as the lightning
strikes, not one bolt ever touches his body. They all wrap around the swords,
and he kind of flings them up towards the ceiling. So, if he really
did get the Q, it must have been by osmosis through the blades.
XII. Name the episodes in HL:TS where something supernatural happens (other than Quickenings).
Season 1--
1.Family Tree--in the FB, Ian's story about DM being cursed by the
midwife as a changeling, then calling him the devil's spawn
2. Road Not Taken--the whole thing about the quanloo root & the
magic elixir
3. Band of Bros.--the legend of Darius' *light* Q
Season 2--
1. Darkness--Greta's psychic powers
2. The Vampire--in the FB, the vampire stuff, to the extent it wasn't
being faked by Ward
3. Legacy--Luther seemed to have sorcerer powers, plus the legend of
Rebecca's stone
Season 3--
1. Line of Fire--DM had rather special visions in the Q of Little Deer
& Kahani
2. Cross of St. Antoine--Durgan's animal roars
3. Shadows--Garrick's power of sight, plus his ability to project his
hallucinations
Season 4--
1. Something Wicked--Coltec's hayoka ability, plus the 2 *dark* Qs
2. Deliverance--EDM & then the magic pool & the fight between
the 2 Duncans
3. Meth. Gift--the legend of Rebecca's stone & the transformation
of the pieces into an orb
Season 5--
1. Prophecy--Kantos' voice, as well as Cassandra's voice & her
power to control what people saw (incl. DM's conversation w/ his younger
self); plus, the
prophecy about DM
2. Haunted--Alec's ghost appearing on/in RR
3. Archangel--the hermit's prophecy about DM, plus all the Ahriman/"brew"
nasty stuff
Season 6--
1. Avatar/Armageddon--Ahriman again
2. To Be/Not To Be--DM's "dream"
XIII. Okay, back to HLTS stuff. More specifically,
Richie stuff. He's had some great lines describing himself and his situation.
Name the episode and who he's talking to when he describes himself or his
situation in the following manner:
1. "I'm an idiot."----RR to JD, "Haunted".
2. "Waiting's not my thing."----RR to Tessa, "The Hunters".
3. "I am Duncan MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod."----RR to his reflection,
"Eye of the Beholder".
4. "...bright, but lazy."----RR to DM about how his teachers described
him, "The Gathering".
5. "...a sex object."----RR to Tessa, saying there are worse things
to be, "For Tomorrow We Die".
6. "I'm wanderin' around this place, turning like fish-belly white,
growing this phosphorescent tendril outta my forehead, like some bottom-dwelling
sea urchin..."----RR to DM, "The Beast Below".
7. "I just took a $60,000 hit, I wanna kill someone!"----RR to DM about
buying the horse, "Double Eagle".
8. "I'm learning,..."----RR to DM, "Duende".
9. "I'm your friend. I am NOT your friend."----Evil RR to DM, "Archangel".
10. "..it's all backwards now."----RR to DM, "Under Color of Authority".
XIV. I've read that Adrian Paul as director banned smoking on the set of The Modern Prometheus, yet Duncan MacLeod was known to enjoy the occasional cigar. Name the eps we saw DM smoking a cigar.
1. Glory Days (the FB--playing poker w/ the boys)
2. Haunted (the FB--playing around w/ Alec Hill)
3. Duende (in the tag, w/ Richie).
XV. Staying on the subject of quickenings, traditionally,
when Duncan takes a quickening, he is on his feet or on his knees............sometimes
both.
But, there was one powerful Q that spun him around in a circle and
pinned him to the wall. Can you name the episode & the K'immie?
John Durgan/Armand Thorne in "The Cross of St. Antoine." And,
BTW, the wall was actually the side of a train.
XVI. This week I will list what I call "Quotable
Quotes." Quotes from HL:TS I love. Tell me who said it, in which episode
and any other pertinent info
you want.
1. "Come to me and die." I laugh out loud every time I hear this. From
Pharaoh's Daughter, Nefertiri challenging the Romans. (Variations are Duncan
to Kalas - "Then come and die." Kern to Duncan in Line of Fire, "Time to
Die.")
2. "The good news is I'm rusty, I might miss...... The bad news is
that I'm really pissed." Duncan to Slade's guy in Bad Day In Building A.
3. "Got a lot of history, Joe. Things accumulate." Andy Cord to Joe
Dawson in Band of Brothers.
4. "The best day is always the one you're in." Graham Ash to Haresh
Clay in End of Innocence FB.
5. "Oh-h-h, that's gotta hurt." Cory Raines when he sees DM blown up
in the car. (MacWestie also says Duncan says this when Cory blows
up, I didn't
check.)
6. "You smell good!" Betsy Fields to Joe Dawson in Glory Days when
they're on their date.
7. "All those women; all that wine!" Priest to Richie and Duncan in
Line of Fire (talking about his days in Paris before he became a priest).
8. "You never confuse people with what they don't need to know." Paul
Karros to Mara in The Revolutionary.
9. "I hate this part." Brian Cullen in Courage after he wakes from
a death and has to find a place to heal.
10. "We live, we grow stronger, and then we fight." Silas to Methos
in Revelations 6:8.
11. "Well, that was a big one, wasn't it." Duncan to Amanda, Joe, and
Methos after Kalas' Q in Finale Part Two.
12. "Thank you, master of the bloody obvious." Duncan to Richie in
Double Eagle, talking about how hard it will be to keep Amanda and Kit
apart from each other now that they're partners.
13. "We observe, we record, and stay the hell out of it." Joe Dawson
to Amanda in Joe's Bar talking about the rift between Joe and Duncan. Episode--The
Colonel. (Lots of variations on this.)
14. "Imagine it. LIVE IT!" Evil Duncan in Deliverance to Methos after
Sean's Q. (This is a Eurominute scene, so not everybody may have had it.)
15. "I'll just get my coat!" Duncan to Detective Sole in For Evil's
Sake. This is by far the best quote I know. I always imagine that if it
were shown in a theater of HL fans, when Duncan gets up and turns and faces
the camera with his smile on his face, and we KNOW what he means by that,
we would all just get up and cheer. LOL.
XVII. 1. Name the episode(s) where the same flashback is shown more than once. By this I mean the FB is repeated in the same episode.
The flashback I was looking for was in ‘The Watchers’ where Duncan thinks back twice to the exact moment he discovers Darius’ body in the church. A couple of you mentioned ‘Through a Glass Darkly’, even though the FB was slightly altered each time. I’ll give points for this, since it’s such a logical assumption.
2. Name the two episodes where Mel Gibson is mentioned; who mentions him to whom and what are the circumstances.
Richie teases Tessa that Mel Gibson is her type in ‘The Watchers’
and, of course, Duncan suggests Mel Gibson wear the kilt when answering
Carolyn Marsh’s assistant in the bookstore in ‘Dramatic License’.
XVIII. Things that happen in 2's tend to get my
attention. Here are a few 2-fors in HL:TS. Names & eps, please.
a. 2 women who knee DM in the groin.----Felicia Martins (while sparring)/Free
Fall & May-Ling Shen (teaching a valuable lesson)/They Also Serve FB
b. 2 Immortals DM breaks out of the morgue.----Michelle Webster/Rite
of Passage & Carl Robinson/Manhunt (*not* Brian Cullen/Courage--he
was still in Doc Anne's ER)
c. 2 Immortals who are temporarily dead when they receive a Quickening.----DM
was dead by poison when he received Morgan d'Estaine's Q in Double Jeopardy,
& Byron was dead by stabbing when he took Hans Kershner's Q in The
Modern Prometheus
d. 2 different priests played by the same actor.----Roger Bret played
Father Andre/Counterfeit & Father Bernard/Mortal Sins
e. 2 times Anne returns DM's loft elevator key.----Shadows (in the
tag when she dumps him time #1) & Reunion (when she barges in to pick
Amanda up for a shopping spree)
f. 2 times we're shown one certain character being BH'd (& by *different*
foes).----Richie Ryan was shown losing his head to both DM/Archangel &
Methos/Not To Be, w/ the latter being in DM's dream/alternate universe
g. 2 names appearing on the barge's plaques.----Nobile (seasons 1-4,
plus stock shots in later eps through season 6) & Amadeus (off &
on starting at the end of season 4)
1. (Contextual one-of-a-kind) At the end of the ep, having taken Galen's
head, DM cries out "Come! Come!"--- the only time in the series that he
verbally *invites* a Q.
2. (Administrative one-of-a-kind) (And I apologize again; I really
couldn't think of a better way to phrase this without giving it away) The
music playing behind the credits at the end of the ep is the *continuation*
of Princes of the Universe, the only time in HL:TS that it was not a repeat
of the first verse heard with the opening titles.
XX. Duncan seems to have spent a lot of time getting around history on horseback.........(and he seems to have had a kind of love/hate relationship with horses, doesn't he?) but I digress, what other means of transportation have we seen Duncan use over the years? And be specific, if it was a car, what kind of car. Name the mode of transportation, and of course, the episode.
1. T-Bird...............................various eps
2. Citroen.......................... various Paris eps.
3. Wagon..............................Driven by DM in "Studies in Light"
4. Coach...............................Passenger and Driver in "Revenge
of the Sword"
5. Buggy...............................Passenger with Brian Cullen
in "Courage"
6. Row Boat.........................Rowing in "Eye For an Eye"; passenger
in "Reunion"
7. Canoe...............................Several, but most noticeably
in "They Also Serve"
8. Motorcycle......................With sidecar in "The Return of Amanda"
9. Joe's SUV.........................As a passenger in "Blackmail"
10. Red car............................Rented in SF in "Haunted"
11. Range Rover...................various eps.
12. Pick-up truck..................in "Run For Your Life"
13. 1920's Packard..............in "Money No Object"
