hough the Cats originated in the Eastern Hemisphere, they have extended through-out the world. Very nomadic, they have spread their influence as far as the Canadian tundra and the Siberian ice.
Arising in Egypt, the Cats' influence of religion and magic quickly moved into India and China, soon joined by the Indonessian islands, once predominately Reptilian.
Gypsy-like groups roamed into Turkey, Iran, Iraq, and the Islamic nations, growing far into Europe. Their unique fighting abilities and magical prowress was the key that aloowed them to push back the Dogs in the Great Land War, however, they soon found themselves defeated when the Birds came to the Dogs' aid and pushed them back to the Syrian countries.
Some of the Cats journeyed over-seas to South America, picking up and carrying on the Aztec and Mayan beliefs, becoming some of the most feared Prides in the New World.
Cats and Reptiles Have often joined forces in the Pride Lands, forming powerful leaders and militia. Legend has it that the Cats were also the first of the New World to carry on the written languages.
In the modern world, Cats are more isolated and solitary. Those who live outside of the Pride Lands claim no allegience to it's laws and often times scoff at the Cat dictatorship, finding it inanimane. Though they do not often admit their origins, they are most often deeply religious and extremely devout.
Cats have a strong matriachal society and the strongest leaders have all been female. Cats are often religious leaders, though they do sometimes play political roles, along with drug bars and entertainment establishments.
