Marijuana seems to be a very safe medicine. It has many medicinal benefits, and is an effective treatment for some people. Legalization of marijuana would be very beneficial, as well as economical. Marijuana has shown to be less toxic than standard medicines, as well as less addicting, and far less subject to abuse.

It has shown to be above today’s medical standards for prescription medicines.

Marijuana has a history of being a very useful drug. For thousands of years to treat a variety of ailments. It is also very safe. No one has ever died of an overdose of marijuana. A low dosage creates effects such as: feeling of wll-being, relaxation and sleepiness. Marijuana would be safe for medicinal use because the dosage needed to treat the ailment is less than that to get "high." Marijuana is also safer than some drugs they use for the same problems. Morphine, a highly dangerous narcotic, is used as a prescription painkiller.

Since no one has ever died of a marijuana overdose, marijuana is safer than a common, over-the-counter pain reliever, aspirin. Every year, one thousand people die of an aspirin overdose. The side effects of aspirin can injure or even kill younger children. Marijuana has hardly any harmful, short-term side effects. Marijuana can also help treat drug abuse in cases of prescription narcotics and painkillers.
