Okay, I'll admit I may not create the world's most beautiful and creative banners, but I do enjoy making them! The point of this section is to show off some examples of my work. I'll be willing to make banners for anyone who needs them - yes, for free. I'll have a form running here soon, but for now, feel free to e-mail me your requests. Remember, I don't only make X-Files banners, and I also don't only make banners - I make website images too. Just read the directions below and send me the following information:

  • Your name, your website URL and your website's title (and any other mottos/quotes/wording desired)

  • Any pictures you want on your banner/image

  • Size (if the size isn't specified, I'll automatically make it 400X60 pixles.)

  • If you're planning to use the banner for the XF/MM Banner Exchange - if yes, I'll automatically follow the guidelines (400x60 pixles, under 12MB, etc.), no need to specify.

  • If you have this graphic image in your head and you know exactly what you want, go ahead and specify the details - colors, special effects, fonts, etc.

  • NO Pornographic or objectional material please, folks. I'll also refuse to make any banner/image with Piper or Madelaine, so DON'T ASK ME. All you'll get out of it is one of my famous angry rants.

  • You must give me credit and place link-back to my site (either one of my banners or text "banner created by Li'l Scully" or "Image by Kirsten" or whatever floats your boat.)

    I use Adobe Photoshop to create my images, along with the help of ulead type and particle plugins. Sadly, I don't own Corel (yet!), but I can still sorta-kinda do those collages everyone seems to like with the eraser and opasity tools. If you're familiar with Adobe and know the tools/filters, feel free to go into the details in your instructions (ex: lens flare, bas relief, neon glow, blah blah blah...).

    The Type and particle plugins make those cool special effects for the graphic's background (particle) and the text (text plugin). If you make images yourself and would like to download a free trial of the plugins, you can find them at www.webutilities.com. Some of the special effects included is flaming text, bubbles, smoke, rain, snow, neon light, stars, and lots more.

    Fonts...oh jeez I have hundreds of them. Everything from Alien League to Zombie. You name 'em, I got 'em. Or if not, I have my sources that will probably have the font you want. I think I have all X-File-ish fonts, anyways...I'm sorry if I lost you with all my useless psychobabble. Once again, if you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me.

    I've made loads of banners for people these last couple of months, but I have this bad habit of not saving them to their own subdirectory. Which means it's floating around in my whole website directory. which is most likely more messy than my room (ye gods). If thats the case, I'll have to go through thousands of images, which I'm not really up to.
