PREQUELS NOTE:In the prequels we'll finaly learn what's the homeworld of Anakin Skywalker. It's Tatooine, in the town of Mos Espa. It is said that he was a slave who won his freedom in a Pod Race. In Episode II he will marry Padme Naderrie Amidala, and fight in the Clone Wars. In the Episode III he will betray the Jedi and duel against Obi-Wan Kenobi, he will be defeated and disfigured, and he will be completely transformed in Darth Vader.
There are rumors that say that the reason why Obi-Wan and Anakin fight, is that "something" happens between Obi-Wan and Padme. This could make a lot of sense: When Padme hides from Anakin, she is helped by Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan take a personal interest in looking over Luke... Of course, it also could have NO SENSE: Why Obi-Wan and Padme didn't hide together, get married or something? Why did Obi-Wan send Padme with Bail Organa instead?
Other possibility (more likely, I think...) is that Anakin is DRIVEN by Palpatine (then a senator, probably from Naboo) to BELIEVE that something happened between his bride and his mentor.
As always: Who knows? It could be in anyway...
