| This is the fifth image in the Outenkun to Kare (Outenkun and Boyfriend/Him) Series. In this picture, Outenkun is with Shinkouhyou. At first, I ignored the character of Shinkouhyou, but over time, he seemed more and more interesting. He has many secrets about himself, as does Outenkun, so they began to remind me of each other. As such, I think they would go well together.
This picture was the second hardest of all the Outenkun to Kare images to draw. I must have thrown out at least four sketches before I drew this one. The sketch was drawn with blue animator pencil and mechanical pencil on mediocre sketchbook paper (the paper tore when I was inking...). I inked the sketch onto vellum tracing paper, scanned the inking, and colored it in Paint Shop Pro 6 with Wacom Graphire Tablet, all in June 2003. |
