Family Reunion

Chapter Two

"Why don't you go get your things so that we can head over to Angel's, where the rest of the family is." Tara said completing her sister's thoughts.

Just then a couple of guys from the football team who had been hassling Buffy came over.

"Hey Buffy, there's a party at the beach tomorrow, wanna join us?" said one of them leering at her.

Buffy frowned. Don't these guys understand what no means? she wondered.

Angel, missing the frown on Buffy's face turned to his girlfriend and growled...... "Buffy aren't you going to introduce me to your friends?"

Buffy absent mindedly said "Oh these aren't my friends.

"Tara and Shani grinned, sharing a knowing look. Angel obviously had changed a bit since they last saw him. He was still the possessive human they had always know with and loved.

"Oh right I suppose they're some out of town cousins!" Angel spat out, using her words against her.

Buffy, regaining her senses smiled at her jealous boyfriend. Laughing she said, "My cousins, I like. These guys, on the other hand, are annoying!" Which made the angry boys stalk off.

Angel smiled. "Why don't we go get your things now?" he asked taking her hand and leading her back to her table with his sister behind him.

Angel was very happy. The woman he loved was with him. His family was back and they had forgiven him. What more could he possibly ask for? Well, actually he wouldn't mind be human again, going out in the sun, seeing Buffy in a bikini, eating food, especially ice-cream and chocolate which Buffy couldn't seem to get enough of, and having kids. But he reminded himself, beggars can't be Choosers, and he should be happy enough with what he had.

"Hey, Dead-Boy. Long time no see, not that I'm not complaining." Xander said jokingly as the group neared the table.

"Harris I see you still haven't changed." Angel said with a smile in his voice

"Oh well, I can dream can't I?"

"There are some people I want you to meet," continued Angel. "My little sister Shani," he said pointing to the girl, "and my twin, Tara."

"Sisters!" Willow and Cordelia said together.

"Twin!" Buffy said at the same time. "You didn't say anything about being twins."

"You never asked." Tara said laughing at the shocked faces.

"We're not identical, as you can see," continued Angel. "I'm also the oldest by three minutes."

"We also have another brother," Shani said. "Evan, he's the oldest, at the moment he is with Mother and Father at Angel's loft."

Oz, finally recovering from the shock, turned to Angel and said, "I thought your entire family was dead?"

"So did I," Angel said. "We'll explain everything as soon as we can go to my loft."

"Oh, Giles is going to be so mad that he missed this." Willow said remembering the British watcher.

"He left for London with Miss Calender the day after he found your note." Oz finished.

Speaking of notes, Cordelia turned to Angel. "Why didn't you write to Buffy? We though you were like cheating on her or something." The May Queen finished off the subject as usual.

Tara turned to Buffy. "Is that why you though Shani was my brother's girlfriend?" The redhead inquired. "Because your friend psyched you out?"

"Yeah, silly isn't it?" Buffy laughed at her foolishness. "That's what I get for to listening to Cordelia."

"Hey! I never told you to listen to me, it's not my fault you thought that Shani was Angel's girlfriend." Cordelia fumed, making everyone laugh at her as she got even more upset. She was not used to being the joke and never took being laughed at easily.

Willow, taking pity at her new friend, turned to the group and said, "As much as I enjoy Cordelia being made a fool of, shouldn't we get going now?"

With that said, the hacker gathered her stuff, with the others following, and walked out, while holding hands with her werewolf boyfriend.
