Tools
Wayerd Pyramid: Use outside during the day under a clear sky. Place item in Pyramid, close Pyramid, set it down, then wait 30 hums. If it does not hum, it is not working. You can place more than one of the same item in the Pyramid for drying.
Ulonchai Bucket: Used to freeze items. Use the frozen items to break apart, which will help with Mechanical Lore skill.
Portable Stove: Place stove on the ground. Put charcoal in stove, put item in jar, place jar on stove, light charcoal with flint, close stove. Wait until smoke stops or charcoal goes out. To light charcoal, you need black flint. Strike the flint with a bladed weapon, knife, etc, to light the charcoal.
Making potions and Salves
To make a potion or salve, first crush the herb into a powder/pulp. Then crush catalyst into powder/pulp, if not already done. Place herb, catalyst and water into a jar, then mix pulp with mixing stick. If you use another type of closeable container, place items in container and shake ONCE.
To Use an Herb
In it's natural state, you eat it. If it is a pulp, you either rub it or eat it. If salve, you either rub it or eat it. If a mash, either rub it or drink it. If a potion, you can only drink it. For treating deaders, you must apply the herb to the deader, or feed herb to the deader. Use only pulps or salves on deaders.
Note: If you mix ithor pulp, water and a catalyst, you will not get Ithor Potion. You will end up with Nilos Salve. I am not clear as to why this happens.
