Well, I'm trying to get some more recipies, but these 2 are all I have to begin with! Enjoy, and please send me your low-fat recipies!
Pasta Salad
- 2 1/2 cups pasta (Spirals but most others would work fine...think the original recipe uses linguine)
- 1 16 oz bottle fat free Italian dressing
- 2 packettes good caesuras zeaty italian salad dressing mix(not mixed up to dressing)
- 2 cucumbers cut into smal pieces
- 2-3 tomatos cut into small pieces
- Mix all together then refirgerate at least 1 hr...add more salad dressing if it seems to dry.
Shepard's Pie
- 2 lbs lean ground beef or turkey
- 4 mashed potatoes
- 1 can corn or other vegatables
- 1 block ceddar (low-fat) cheese or any other kind of cheese
- Ground your beef/turkey then put that on the bottom of your dish (I prefer caserol dish), then put your vegatable on top of the meat. Do your mashed potatoes and put that on top of the corn. Then top with cheese or other topping. Bake in the oven till the cheese is melted. Serves about 2 adults, 2 kids. At least in my house! :0)
