humans

a martian perspective

i often get the same feeling when i find myself walking down the street grinning from ear to ear for no apparent reason. even someone purposefully stepping on a cola can, just to hear the crinkle crushing sound it makes when it flattens beneath their boot, can leave me exasperated.

what a species! the list of incongruencies is endless.

what about someone waving at an unknown person driving down the road just to see their reaction and afterwards laughing at themselves for doing such a silly thing.

homo sapiens pride themselves on having the "amazing" ability to be rational, but, in a manner of speaking, the ape quite often escapes into the wilderness. like the chimpanzee, at a zoo, who climbs into an upside down bucket and starts crawling around like a tortoise to the fascination of the primates staring at it from the other side of the fence.

it is exactly this type of irrationality...
