Merge was founded on the 27th of March 2003 by people from the RtCW clans Crazy Olsen Brothers(cOb) and Da Boozin(DaBZ).
We played RtCW quite succesfully
for about 8 months, with the victory in the Swedish Championships as the big highlight.
Due to decreasing interest in RtCW-community
with many clans dropping, we decided to change games and start playing Enemy Territory in 2004. Our experience from RtCW showed to come
in handy and we got off to a great start in ET. After only playing ET for approximately 1.5 months we qualified for Clanbase EuroCup!
After a succesful spring, we joined the NL/UK multigaming clan Reloaded on our one year annivarsy. We played for Reloaded until they folded
in early summer 2004.
When the next season started we decided to set Merge inactive, and som players went to FoVeA playing ET and some to
ABA playing RtCW.
So now here we are! It's 2005 and Merge is back active in both Enemy Territory and Return to Castle Wolfenstein! |
