Below are all the codes I know that work. If you have any more, please E-Mail me at
129 OF ANY ITEM-(Red/Blue only)- WARNING! Any information in your hall of fame list will be erased. Try to use this code before you beat the Elite 4.
Press start and go to your items list. Put the item wished to be duplicated 6th from the top. Fly to Viridian and talk to the old man. Watch him catch a Weedle. After that, Fly to Cinnabar Island. Surf on the right coast that is half water half land. After surfing up and down on that for a while, you'll run into Missingno. or [][]M'[]. Defeat them or run away(Do NOT catch, it could screw up your game) and look at your item. It should have a square in front of it. There is acctually 129 of that item(99 and 30). Try doing this on PPups, Nuggets, or Rare Candies. Also, did you notice that you get Magikarp's number when you duplicate the item?
LEVEL 100+ POKéMON-(Red/Blue only)This has the same warning as the Duplicating item code, so beware.
After watching the guy in Viridian catch a Weedle, Fly to Cinnabar island. Surf on the right coast that's half land, half water. Press A rapidly, too. Eventually, level 100 Pokémon will appear. My friends have spotted Golbats and Snorlaxs(Snorlaxes? SP?) while I see Nidorinos at level 176. Each game is different. E-Mail me some of the pokémon you see using this code.
MASTER BALL CODE- This doesn't always work, but if you hold up and B while throwing any ball, It'll close tighter and catch any pokémon. I caught a full-health Arbok at Lvl. 54 using this trick.
BLAINE ON A ROOF- Go to the coast of Cinnabar Island to the point where if you hold left on the control pad you'd walk in front of the gym. Now get out of the water and walk in front of the door. If you don't have the secret key, It'll say "It's Locked..." Look on the roof and Blaine himself is watching you!
CYCLING MUSIC WHEN WALKING- In either Seafoam Islands or Victory road, hop on your bike and fall down a hole in the ground. You should be walking with the bycicle music playing! As soon as you get into battle, though, it plays the walking music.
DUPLICATING POKéMON- There are 2 ways of doing this, one without a link cable and one with one. The way without could screw up your game, so I'll just put the non-screwing up-type.
When in a trade, have the pokémon wished to be duplicated traded for a pokémon you don't want. NOTE-The pokémon you choose will vanish and never return. IT BETTER NOT BE A MAGIKARP!!!!! Well, as both pokémon are traded to the opposite game, turn the game who originally had the pokémon wished to be duplicated off as soon as the final waiting! turns to a white screen(It says Waiting! then flashes to Trade Completed!. You have to turn it off in the flash.). The other game boy should have Trade Completed! on it. Turn that Game Boy off. Turn both on and if you did it right, you should have the pokémon on each game. (It's like this- On one game, I have a Bulbasaur. On the other, a pidgey. After my Bulbasaur goes to the other game and the other game's Pidgey comes to me, It'll say Waiting! The second I see Waiting! disappear, I turn my game off. The other game says Trade Completed! Turn that one off and check both games. We both have Bulbasaurs.)
FIGHT SAFARI POKéMON ELSEWHERE- This code works on any field or cave, not just the Safari Zone. It's the most useful if you use it in the Safari Zone, though.
Go to the place you wish to find the pokémon there (Safari Zone, Mt.Moon, Route 26, etc.) and walk at least one pace in the grass or cave. Fly to Cinnabar Island and surf on the right coast to find those pokémon(Safari Zone's time must run out. As soon as it does, exit the building and fly to Cinnabar).
FISH IN STATUES-It sounds strange, but with a rod in certain statues you can fish or surf! Usually it only works in Gyms or the Indigo Plateau.
HIDDEN COINS IN THE GAME CORNER-If you walk around in the Game Corner, you'll find hidden coins! There's even a 100-coin bonus if you can find it! You can find more than 200 if you look hard enough and talk to people.
STAND ON A TREE-Cut a tree down using cut. Stand where the tree was and save your game. Turn the game, then on after a minute or so. You'll be standing on a tree.
GLITCH CITY-Go to the Safari Zone and enter. Once inside, talk to the man with glasses in the nearby house. Try to leave the Safari Zone, but say 'No' to "Leaving early?" You will be forced back into the zone. Try leaving again and say no once more. Save your game and turn it off. Turn it back on after a few minutes and exit the Szfari Zone. He'll ask you if you want to join the hunt. Say no and exit the building. Fly to Cinnabar and surf the right coast until the beep of the Safari Zone takes you back to the building. Exit and you'll be in a glitch city! Try exploring(Surf if you get stuck)! Also, the bushes can't be cut down and if you encounter a Tentacool while surfing, you'll be cast into the ocean with no way to get back. Fly to get out of the city.
