The Free Isles
The sign on this inn shows three wyrms; a red, a green and at the centre a blue dragon.
The tap room is small and crowded but the rooms are clean and comfortable as well as being reasonably priced. The food and ale is of a comparable quality.
The inn keeper is a squat, middle aged human by the name of Sanaise but is known to all the regulars as 'porky', partly because of his physique but mostly because of his bad eating habits. He also has an aversion to washing and his body odour usually announces his presence.
Ground Floor
- 1. Main Taproom
- The taproom of the Three Dragons is warm and welcoming. The smell of woodsmoke from the large fire mingles with the smell of meat roasting infront of it. An assortment of
mismatched tables and chairs fills most of the room. To the north east a wooden bar counter is heavily polished, not with beeswax but by the rubbing of many greasy palms and pewter tankards.
Opposite the fireplace a wooden stair leads to the upper floors of the inn. Beneath the stairs a small wooden door leads to a pair of jakes.
- 2. Bar
- This is where Sanaise prepares the simple fare he feeds to his clients. Barrels of ale and bottles of wine are stored here and in the cellar below the stone trapdoor in the NE corner of the bar area.
Top Floor
- 3.Bedroom
- A small room into which four beds had been crammed. Though small, the room is clean and tidy and the beds appear to be freshly made. A window in the far wall is shuttered to guard against the cold winds.
- 7.Bedroom
- Three bunks had been crammed into a room where there is really only room for two. Yet like the other rooms, the beds are freshly made and the sheets and blankets look to be free of bugs. A tightly shuttered window is set into the wall furthest from the door and the room feels snug.
