Looks like the guys over at Team Associated are at it again. This pic. is a sneak peek of the
RC10 T3 racing truck. From the looks of it, it's a B2 with the truck suspension hung on it. Most of the truckers at the local Simi Valley Ground Pounders Club, run the Losi, but myself and a few others have stuck it out, through the aluminum tub T2 with good results. However as any Losi guy will tell you, it's harder to tune the T2, but once you get it right....look out. Now, with the introduction of the new T3 I would look for a lot of guys to switch back to the old reliable RC10 and it's proven winning ability. I personally can't wait for it to be released.

These are shots of the
RS4 Pro. I own one and found it easy to assemble, even with the less than clear instructions. This car is just AWESOME. I have raced mine several times, and even though I had NO touring car experience, found it very easy to control. It drives very much in a point and go manor.(You point it where you want it, and it goes there.) I ran mine with the One-Way Pulley and found it
drove as described by several magazine, like RC Car Action Magazine like a 2wd going into the corners, but I found it to be TOO MUCH like a 2wd when it got squirly getting back on the throttle. I drove my wife original RS4 with the stock pulley and found that it tracked better around the corners, so I have changed back to the stock pulley in my
Pro, and will be testing it at this weekend local parking lot race, with the Simi Valley Ground Pounders. I will be sure to let you know, how it goes.
The set-up I have seen recommended most is the use of the silver spring all around, with #1 pistons front and #2 pistons rear, using 30wt oil, and 2 degrees of neg. camber front and rear. I where I race the majority of drivers are running the blue springs from
Tamiya in back, with the softer red ones in the front. One of the local racers who usually finishes 1st or at least top 3, runs these springs with the kit recommended pistons and 80wt oil, and he is just GLUED to the track. I found that the tires he uses Integy Racing Super Narrow belted radials work great, and last a good 3 events, before you definitely need to buy fresh rubber, this is good for us LOW BUCK racers. He has also mentioned to me that he had good results with thier NON-Belted version, but they tend to were out really fast. I'll keep you posted on how this car is holding up for me and would be very interested in
hearing about your experiences with the RS4 Pro, sport, or original.

This shot has been included to show the versatility of the vehicles and designers in this industry. I am a die hard Associated fan, and have joined the ranks of the Sedan Class with my HPI RS4, and while I may not like Team Losi, I have to admire their efforts to expand into various areas of the sport. First they revitalized the 4wd class with the XX4, and now they've jumped into the Sedan Ring, with their altered XX4, currently named the "Street Weapon". This car
looks like it has a lot of potential. I think the sealed drive train lends itself to the street corner and parking lot racer, as it would help to keep the crud out, and make clean up a little easier, than the open belt models out there. I can honestly say I don't plan to buy this car as it is a Losi, but with the 2 major Off-Road manufactures battling back and forth for the top spot, I would keep looking for that RC10"LR" "Lot Rod", to be right around the corner. And while both manufactures continue to deny any rumors and then a few weeks later, show up with a new prototype, I would expect Team Associated to follow up the RC10 DS, with a full blown 4wd tourer.
BUT, that's just this racer's opinion.
Some of the above pic and peeks were copied from the 2 greatest R/C Car magazines of all time.
