Bolink has released there new '98 Ford Taurus Stock Car Body and
it looks to be a good replacement for those now running the Ford
Thunderbird Body. For those of you who may not be aware, Ford has
discontinued the Ford Thunderbird begining in 1998 and therefore
NASCAR has had to settle for Ford's replacement entry the 1998 Ford
Taurus. Although the Taurus is a 4 door sedan, with the consesions
given by NASCAR, it looks a lot like the Monte Carlo by
Chevrolet.

World Update
Associated unveils its new B3 off-road racing buggy. Based on the
world champion RC10B2, the B3 has been designed to better cope with
bumpy track conditions. New, longer rear A-arms, redesigned hub
carriers and adjustable rear anti-squat combine to make the B3 more
stable through rough sections and a bit less aggressive in the
steering department -- both of which make the B3 easier to
drive.
In addition, the B3's front suspension features new, 30-degree
caster blocks that use a ball-stud/kingpin arrangement for better
camber-rod placement. Add to this molded-in ball studs on the front
and rear suspension arms (to accept optional front and rear
swaybars), standard MIP CVD driveshafts (Team model only) and a new
body (which fits the chassis more snugly), and the B3 looks like a
winner.

The cab-forward Dodge Stratus profile is now available in an R/C
car body from Andy's.
The design will fit any touring car chassis from Kyosho, Tamiya, HPI,
Yokomo and others. The Lexan body is made using a unique molding
process, and it has been performance tested under track
conditions.
I myself have started running this body and found that not only does
it handle the same if not better than the HPI Honda Accord, those of
us who like to drive AMERICAN can now run with the Dodge Boys. The
design of this body is very well layed out even given that the body
had to be sized to fit most 190mm Touring Cars. I had originally
picked up the Parma Stratus body, but found that it simply was too
big for the RS4 and when the Andy's version came in, I snatched it
right up. The only draw back to the new Dodge Bodies that are coming
out is finding one. I started with the Parma body, by having Martie's
Hobbies in Thousand Oaks California order it, and they had it in the
next day. After finding out that it would not fit right, I had them
order the Andy's version which I was told would take longer to get,
but it was in the store 3 days later. If you can find these bodies,
get one, they run great and look AWSOME.
