This page WILL take a while to load.  Please be patient.  Thanks!  This is a temporary page.  I will be designing a set of pages for these pictures but I just wanted to get them all up and viewable for now.

Page 1   Page3

This is Awful Falafel!  She was named by a good friend of ours.  We're just glad that he didn't name her "Head Cheese" or something along those lines.  :)

Falafel munching a bit o' banana.

Falafel getting up close and personal with the camera.

Falafel in profile.

Falafel's got the most black fur of any of our piggies... well... maybe the most black on just one side.  :)

That nosey Falafel again.

Falafel eating... what's the chances of that?  :)

One last smile for the camera.  Falafel's proud of the reddish brown on her nose and head.

This is Groundhog.  He's gone now.  We loved him very much and we just wanted to show the world how beautiful he was.

Hoggie in profile.

Hoggie had reallly long ass fur.  The rest of his hair was short but his ass fur was really long and we had to trim it so that it wouldn't get matted and such.

Hoggie taking a break.

Hoggie relaxing.

I made this page on the same day we lost our little Hoggie.  :(

We love you Hoggie!  You'll always be missed...

Sir Loaf of Fur and Groundhog hangin' out together.  They were best buddies.

GHog's just letting Loaf stick his big nose in the camera.

This is Grommit.  This is also how almost all the pics of her turned out.  She just kept pointing her big ass at the camera.  :)

There's Grommit's cute little face.

Shit... there's her back again!

Wait!  Hold that pose!

Grommit looking for another way to escape.  She was THE most difficult piggie to take pics of.  She just would not cooperate.

It's the King of the Guinea Pigs!  Sir Loaf of Fur!!!

Loaf showing off his great looks.

He's a camera hog (piggie)!

Hey!  What's that thing??

I wonder if it's something to eat!

[Bonk] Guess not.

I am HE-PIG!!!

Just look at my cuteness.

I wonder if there's a mirror around here...

[Sigh] Come back here with that!  You need to take more pictures of me!!!

This is Murphy Brown.  Although we're not really a fan of the TV series/character by the same name we do like the name and it fits this piggie to a 'T'.

Murphy munching some pellets.

Hi!!!

Murphy stretching out.

Murphy and pellets.  We use a lab diet for our piggies.  It comes in 50lb bags and one bag only lasts us about 6 weeks at the most!  We also give them various fruits and veggies as treats and to suppliment their pellet diet.  They live in a mixture of straw and hay which they also eat.  Talk about roughage!!!

Yummy!

[bonk]

I had a bit of trouble getting Murphy's coloration right in this pic.  She's redder than this.

Lousy camera... grrr...

There we go... I'm brown again!!!  Yeah!

Mmmmmm... pellets...

Bye-bye.

This is Panda.  She's the piggie we lost right before Groundhoggie.  We weren't prepared for the loss of Panda as she'd been perfectly healthy with no sign of problems.

The loss of Panda hurt us greatly.  She was a kind and loving piggie who was so wonderful to hold and pet.

Panda loved bananas.

Panda in profile.

She was sooo easy to take pictures of.  She cooperated with me the whole time.

We don't know for sure exactly what happened to Panda but we think that she had several strokes.  Piggies, unlike most animals, can suffer a stroke and go on living a normal little piggie life in a very short period of time.  Unfortunately she had more than one and that's almost impossible to recover from when you're a piggie.

It's hard losing such a sweet creature.  We cared for her from birth.

Goodbye Panda.  We love you with all our hearts.

This is Q-Tip.  She was partial payment for computer work I did for a friend of ours.  Little did I know that I was gonna get paid more than I bargained for.  She was pregnant with Grommit and Spackle.

Q-Tip was very high strung and nippy when we first got her.  Time has mellowed her greatly though.  She's turner out to be a great piggie.

Not the most flattering of pictures.  Thank goodness she doesn't surf the web... yet.  :)

Unfortunately the camera that we used for these pics is just not too good.  I have to edit the pics a great deal to make them presentable.

Q-Tip's coloration is most acurately represented here but this pic still doesn't do her justice.

Q-Tip and her daughters are the only piggies we have with red eyes.  They're also the evilest of our piggies... coincidence?

More of Q-Tips wonderful coloration.

The red eyed piggies are also the shyest of the bunch.

Where's the food???

Q-Tip has a mustache!  :)

Queen of all she surveys.  This is Spice.

Spicey is an ENORMOUS gpig.  Definitely the biggest of our group.

She also seems to be a bit of a camera hog too!

Spicey almost lost her right eye.  The vet believes that she was scratching her ear and missed.

Fortunately we were able to take Spice to the vet thanks to our friend KeslarFox.

As you can see, her eye looks perfectly fine!  This is so amazing because her eye was completely scabbed over and protruding about twice as far as it normally does and it was flat.  It looked like she had a nasty pencil eraser sticking out of her eye socket.  We used Chloramphenicol (an antibiotic) on her eye and now she's doing great!

Ummm... weren't you gonna give me some food???

Ahhhh.... mmmmm... pellets.  :)

I'll be rearanging these pages into shorter, faster loading groups of pages in the future.  For now though, I finally have pics of all our guinea pigs on the site.  I hope to include a few movies of our piggies that our friend KeslarFox took for us some time ago.  I may have to find somewhere else to store the movies though.  I've already filled my 15 megs here at Geocities.  :)

Anyway...  we love our piggies.  They're a part of our family and the loss of one is the loss of a family member.  They come first in our lives and we'd gladdly go without just to keep them safe, healthy, and fed.  If you're thinking about getting a guinea pig, please take what I have to say into consideration.  Gpigs are an animal that require a lot of love and care.  There's many things you have to do to keep one healthy and happy.  If you can't do those things, don't get one.  The animal's life comes first before any wants or needs of it's owner.  I love to talk about my piggies and piggies in general.  If you're considering getting a guinea pig and would like to talk to someone about piggies, drop me an Email.
