CROCHET BLOCKS OF THE MONTH
Crochet instructions for all blocks:
Gauge: 4 pattern stitches=1", 3 completed rows=1"
With white, and Afghan Hook size I, chain 17. Work one complete row of Basic Afghan Stitch. (you should have 17 loops on the hook when the first half of row is done). Begin following chart, keeping in mind that two rows (one complete row) equals one row on the chart. When you have completed the chart, work one more complete row of Basic Afghan Stitch. Do not fasten off. With regular crochet hook size I, work single crochet all the way around, putting three SC in each corner. Fasten off. Secure all ends. For plain blocks, follow the same directions, without the design.
