Dorice Nelson had a long history with my family. In the fall of 1958 she moved from Shirley to Mastic Beach into a converted barn on the Knapp estate. When I was "a person of extreme interest" to one patrolman of the Brookhaven Town Police the day the Knapp mansion burned. She flat told him he was wrong...she was right. My Mom was her Nanny for several years.

Linda Picinich was in my class of '64. Her older brother Ron graduated in 1963

Sal Azzatto was a Mastic Beach pioneer. Sal's Place is still standing (the Sand Bar)

Sal Valenti is most likely Frank's (Floyd '64) father or older brother
