AND IN THIS CORNER
We have our Legal Department and more
. That's my great " Uncle Lou " in the big frame with
some of his NY Times clippings . Louis Joseph, was the first Joseph
I know of to go to college. He was an assistant DA for Brooklyn
in the 1930's 'till the 1960's. He worked on some famous cases
including the prosecution of the Albert Anastasia Murder Incorporated
mob. He worked on some real funny ones too. We always welcomed
his visits to Mastic Beach. Other neat stuff in that corner include
models of several legandery Long Island Stock Cars .... Axel Anderson's
#15 Root Beer Special;s and Jimmy Hendrickson's Flying A, Al DeAngelo's
Ace Of Spades. My first article for Stock Car Racing Magazine
is in a frame and under that, photos of childhood pals Larry &
Dennis and their Dad Dave Schulz .
WHEN I WAS A KID THERE WERE LOTS MORE
CARS IN THE ROOM
The little die cast ones with #s are all in my first book
Long Ride On Short Track. That's an actual box
of Royal headlight bulbs (before sealed beams) that I used in
my '36 Plymouth. That's a '37 Plymouth in the frame on top of
the the bulbs. I bought one just like it for $25.00 from Bobby
Green in '63
THEN WE HAVE A NICE WINDOW THAT LOOKS
OUT ON A NICER TREE ......
And in the last corner .... just to
my computer screens right side we have
MORE MUSIC & CAR STUFF
The guy in middle of the pic with Erik
& Me used to sing at
Island View Manor House on weekends in the 50's
That's one of his early 45's In the

times in my life. Although I had a Caddy

the one you see here. But my Blue & Silver '53 Bentley was
quite nice and more than made up for it! Behind the Caddy is an
1909 Edison Wax Cylinder of Phoebe Knapp's song Blessed
Assurance. To the left our '58 Ford. Above that a '36 Plymouth
Ad. They started at $510.00 On Top Dead Center is my '36 "Old
