TOP SHELF
A twenty year old Mac Computer that
my son Erik learned on then taught me & A fifty three year
old Jon Gnagy TV Sketching outfit that I had as kid. The TV screens
Jon appeared on in 1950 were about the size of the Apple's. On
top of Gnagy, is the box for a Remco Radio Station my brother
and I got for Christmas in 1956.

A Knapp Electric Questioner Game circa
1940's
The Knapp Toy and Novelty Co was
owned by David Knapp and started with electric
motors and trains in the late 1890's.
David was related to the Knapp's I am studying but
I have no idea if they were close at
all. If only I could ask The Questioner ?
The Texaco Fire Helmets are just like
the ones Pat
& Mike gave Butchie & Me in 1951
Another earlier 1930's version of The
Knapp Questioner (Hey I Still Got Lots Of ???) They both still
work fine. They made a version in the 20's too. If only I could
ask them about Dodi and his place in Mastic Beach! That's The
Remco Radio Station which is a lot smaller and less powerful than
Dodi's Radio Station was. Dodi's was wireless and made for the
US Navy. The Remco only had a range of 1/2 mile (about from my
house to his dock if you had enough wire)
THE GAME OF FINANCE
This is the original game that Monopoly
was taken from. The whole story is on the Knapp
Electric Toy Co page. Both it and Krazy Ikes (wood pieces
that snap together) was a bit of departure for Knapp Toys that
were usually all electrical. The Depression changed a lot of things.
