How to Use this Site

Step 1 - Can I submit a Name?
This list is totally visitor driven. You may submit a name if:
  • You are a devotee or priest of a Traditional African Religion.
  • You have known the nominee for at least 3 years in a client/priest, godchild/godparent or priest/priest collegue relationship.
  • You are willing to provide evidence of such relationship upon request.

 

 
Step 2 - Criteria for Being Listed?

Priest of any African Religion and legitimate spiritual temple/house may be listed provided:

  • The manner in which they present themselves is accurate and forthcoming.
  • They domonstrate professionalism and demonstrated skill level in the manner in which they serve as priest.
  • They are ethical in their dealings with fellow priests, devotees and non-practicing clients alike.
  • Their credentials can be verified.
  • They do not ask anyone, including godchildren or fellow priests to place a nomination on their behalf.
Step 3 - What Information do I Need to Make a Nomination?

All nominations require the following:

  • The spiritual name of the Priest.
  • Name of traditional african religion practiced.
  • Year initiated & to what divinity.
  • Whether they are alive or deceased.
  • A maximum of two sentences describing their contribution to their spiritual community.
