'06 pictures are up as of 2:02AM,
and I've unlocked the '05 pics and made them public.
Well, after about 10 hours of work,
I believe I have revitalized this site.
Still some work to do, so definitely check back here.
More updating is sure to come.
There may be conflicts when using
the Mozilla Firefox web browser, however.
I'm Looking into it.

Here we are on the week of Arcadia. I'd like to
congratulate our band for taking visual
sweepstakes at the Vista Tournament this past
Saturday.
Auditions will begin this Thursday, November 17th,
for the 2006 San Diego Alternative Percussion
Ensemble. You can find out more about it here.

Congrats to everyone on your first show of the
season. We're getting off to a great start so
keep up the good work!
Remember that we'll be having a morning rehearsal
on Wednesday, the 28th, from 8am-12pm, followed
by our usual Wednesday night rehearsal. Poway
Preview is coming up very soon, so you'd all
better prepare yourself and learn your music.

Make sure to tune in to ESPN 2 on Tuesday,
September 4th, for the broadcast of the DCI World
Championships. More info about this event can be
found here.
The Mt. Carmel Drumline car wash will be this
Sunday, September 4th, at the PQ Mobile gas
station by Vons. We'll be there from 9am to 3pm.

There will be no sectionals on Wednesday, August
3rd. All freshmen and new battery members are
required to attend the freshman orientation on
Tuesday, August 16th. Everyone else begins band
camp on the 17th.
Edwards Cinema in Mira Mesa will be broadcasting
the DCI quarterfinals on August 11th, at 2pm.

Call time for the fourth of July parade will be 2:15pm
in Rancho Bernardo.
Ensemble sectionals will start on Wednesday, July
6th. Pit rehearsal will be held from 1-4pm, followed
by battery from 6-9pm. Don't forget to keep
checking your emails for more updates.

I hope you all have gotten to hear the field show
music for next season. It sounds to be a very fast
and percussion-oriented show, so now is the time to
get with the practicing. Remember that technique is
the most important factor in playing. Practicing
with sloppy technique will only lead to bad habits.
If you are not yet taking lessons with a private
teacher, I'd highly recommend checking this out.
