PEOPLE MAGAZINE REVIEW:
Elizabeth (Bewitched) Montgomery is a paleontologist looking for the world's oldest hominid fossil. Returning to her dig in Kenya, she finds a miner, Robert Foxworth, trampling around digging up meerchaum. Stick that in your pipe.
They meet mad and stay antagonistic right up until the moment when -- surprise -- they fall in love. (Foxworth and Montgomery are a real life couple.)
It's predictable, full of hokey humor and dopey dialogue: "Three million years old. That makes it the oldest human fossil ever found." "If you don't count my ex-father-in-law." This bush romance would be unbearable were it not for its beautiful Kenyan locations. Grade: C-
