Half-hour crime series with John Cassavetes as private eye Johnny Staccato. Unsuccesful series which critics thought was an imitation of
Peter Gunn. Dropped by NBC in mid-season. Reruns were shown on ABC for six months.

Synopsis:
Faye Lynn, the ex-wife of an old friend pays Staccato a visit and asks him to protect her while she transports an expensive necklace. When several attempts are made to steal the jewels, Staccato begins to wonder if Faye is behind it all.
